The Main Feed Auger Delivery Line is an automatic dry-feed conveying system designed to transport bulk feed from an outdoor storage silo or feed hopper to livestock houses, intermediate hoppers or downstream feeding equipment. | Working Principle |
Dry feed flows from the storage silo through the silo outlet or boot into the conveying tube. When the electric drive starts, the flexible auger rotates inside the tube and carries feed toward the livestock building. Feed is discharged into an intermediate hopper, distribution line or other compatible feeding equipment. A feed level sensor installed at the receiving point can detect when additional feed is required and automatically start the main auger system. When the receiving hopper reaches the preset feed level, the sensor sends a stop signal to the controller and the auger drive stops. This automatic cycle supports reliable feed supply while reducing unnecessary motor operation and manual supervision. |
