Feed enters the line through the loading hopper. When the drive motor operates, the flexible spiral auger rotates inside the feed tube and moves feed progressively along the conveying route. Feed is discharged into pans positioned along the line. As birds consume feed, additional material moves forward through the auger system to maintain feed availability.
