Livestock Equipment Quality Inspection

SHEWUYOU conducts inspections at relevant stages of material receiving, manufacturing, assembly, packaging and order preparation.

Inspection requirements are defined according to the product category, confirmed specifications, order quantity and customer agreement. Different products require different checks because livestock equipment varies in material, structure, function and application.

Our objective is to identify specification errors, visible defects, missing components and packaging problems before products are released for shipment.

Main Inspection Stages

Incoming Material and Component Inspection

Incoming inspection helps identify incorrect or visibly unsuitable materials and components before they enter production.

Depending on the product, checks may include:

• Material or component identification
• Dimensions, thicknesses and quantities
• Surface condition and visible damage
• Color, model and configuration
• Compatibility with the intended product
• Packaging and transportation condition
• Supplier documents where applicable

In-Process Inspection

Waiting until final assembly to identify a dimensional or structural problem can cause unnecessary rework. Relevant checks are therefore performed during production where appropriate.

Finished-Product Inspection

Finished products are compared with the confirmed order information, specifications, drawings or approved samples. Inspection points may include:

• Product name, model and configuration
• Overall and key connection dimensions
• Material and component confirmation
• Structural alignment and assembly condition
• Surface appearance and workmanship
• Fasteners, locks, hinges and moving components
• Accessories and replacement parts
• Labels, logos and product identification
• Basic functional checks where applicable
• Visible sharp edges or areas requiring additional finishing

Functional Inspection

Functional checks depend on the product and may not be identical for every item. Where applicable, inspections may evaluate:

• Opening, closing, locking or adjustment functions
• Rotation or movement of applicable components
• Assembly and connection compatibility
• Basic operation of feeding or drinking components
• Electrical startup or control functions where safely applicable
• Stability of applicable frames, supports or assembled structures
• Fit between the main product and supplied accessories

Specialized performance, load, pressure, electrical or compliance testing must be confirmed separately before production.

Packaging Inspection

Correct products can still arrive with problems if accessories are missing or packaging is unsuitable. Packaging inspection therefore forms part of order verification.

Packaging checks may include:

• Product and package quantities
• Accessories, fasteners and spare parts
• Product separation and surface protection
• Cartons, bags, pallets or wooden cases as applicable
• Logo, labels, barcodes and model information
• Instruction documents and product inserts
• Shipping marks and destination information
• Visible package damage before shipment

Inspection Methods

Nonconforming Product Handling

If a product or component does not meet the applicable requirements, it is identified for evaluation before release.

Depending on the issue, the next action may include:

• Additional inspection or measurement
• Correction or rework
• Replacement of an incorrect component
• Reassembly or adjustment
• Repackaging or label correction
• Separation from accepted products
• Reinspection after corrective work
• Communication with the customer when approval is required

Order Identification and Inspection Records

Products and packages are identified according to operational and order requirements. Relevant inspection information may be retained according to the product and agreed customer requirements.

Customers requiring specific reports, photos, videos, measurement records or inspection documents should confirm these requirements before the order enters production.

Customer and Third-Party Inspection

Customers may request a pre-shipment inspection or appoint an independent inspection company. The inspection scope, timing, sampling method, acceptance criteria and associated costs should be agreed before production.

Factory access and inspection schedules require advance coordination. Products should not be released for shipment until the agreed inspection procedure has been completed.
