| Product Overview | The G3/G4 Synthetic Pre-Filter Media Roll is designed for primary air filtration in livestock houses, poultry buildings, pig farms, dairy barns, agricultural ventilation systems and general HVAC installations. The synthetic nonwoven media captures coarse airborne contaminants before the air reaches downstream fans, cooling pads, heat exchangers or higher-efficiency filtration stages. Supplied in roll form, the media can be cut according to the dimensions of air inlets, ventilation openings, filter frames and air-handling equipment. This flexible configuration is particularly suitable for livestock projects where filtration areas and equipment dimensions vary from one building to another. G3 and G4 grades are commonly associated with coarse pre-filtration under the former EN 779 classification system. Current filtration performance can also be specified according to applicable ISO 16890 classifications when required by the project. |

| Structural Components | Synthetic Fiber Layer: Nonwoven synthetic fibers form the main filtration structure and provide mechanical capture of coarse airborne particles. Progressive Filtration Structure: Depending on the selected specification, fiber density can increase toward the clean-air side to distribute dust through the depth of the media instead of concentrating it only on the surface. Roll Configuration: The media is supplied as continuous material for economical transportation, storage and on-site cutting. Optional Cut Media: Pre-cut pads can be supplied according to customer filter-frame dimensions for faster installation. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle | As ventilation air passes through the synthetic fiber network, coarse dust and suspended contaminants are intercepted within the depth and surface of the filter media. A progressive-density structure, when specified, provides a relatively open upstream layer for larger particles and increasingly dense downstream layers for finer coarse-dust capture. In livestock ventilation systems, the media normally functions as the first filtration stage. Removing coarse contaminants before they enter downstream equipment can help protect secondary filters, fans, air-handling components and other ventilation-system components from excessive dust accumulation. |

| Installation & Maintenance | Installation: Measure the filter frame or ventilation opening and cut the media to the required dimensions. Position the filter uniformly across the full airflow area and secure it with the appropriate frame, support mesh or retaining system. Where directional progressive media is supplied, install it according to the specified airflow direction. Inspection: Check the media regularly for visible dust accumulation, physical damage, excessive deformation and increased system resistance. Replacement: Replace heavily loaded media before excessive resistance reduces ventilation performance. Replacement intervals should be determined by local dust concentration, stocking conditions, fan operation, seasonal ventilation rates and farm-management requirements. Farm Maintenance: Keep spare rolls in a clean and dry storage area so replacement sections can be prepared quickly during scheduled ventilation maintenance. |

| Project Cases | Commercial Pig House Ventilation: Synthetic pre-filter media can be installed at fresh-air intake points to reduce coarse dust entering ventilation equipment and downstream filtration stages. Poultry House Air Inlets: Roll media can be cut into multiple sections for installation in distributed inlet-filter frames used throughout broiler, layer or breeder houses. Livestock Farm Central Ventilation: G3/G4 media can serve as an initial filtration stage ahead of secondary filters in centralized air-handling and ventilation systems. Agricultural Building Retrofit: Custom-cut filter media is suitable for renovation projects where existing ventilation openings or filter frames use non-standard dimensions. |

| Product FAQ | Q: What is the difference between G3 and G4 filter media? A: Both are coarse pre-filtration grades under the former EN 779 classification system. G4 media generally provides a higher coarse-particle filtration level than G3. The appropriate grade should be selected according to system airflow, pressure-drop allowance and downstream filtration requirements. Q: Can the roll be cut to fit existing livestock-house filter frames? A: Yes. Roll media is suitable for on-site cutting, and pre-cut pads can also be supplied according to customer dimensions. Q: Can this media be used as the only filter in a ventilation system? A: It is primarily intended for coarse pre-filtration. Where finer particulate control is required, it should normally be combined with an appropriate downstream filtration stage. Q: Is it suitable for pig and poultry houses? A: Yes. It can be configured for air inlet and ventilation pre-filtration in pig houses, poultry houses, dairy barns and other agricultural buildings, subject to the required airflow and environmental conditions. Q: How often should the filter media be replaced? A: Replacement frequency depends on airborne dust loading, airflow rate, stocking conditions, season and ventilation operating hours. Routine inspection and system pressure-drop monitoring are recommended. Q: Can roll dimensions and filtration grade be customized? A: Yes. Roll dimensions, filtration grade, media thickness and cut-pad sizes can be supplied according to project requirements. |
