| Product Overview | The Washable Reusable Pre-Filter for Livestock Ventilation is a durable synthetic filter medium designed for primary air filtration in pig houses, poultry houses, dairy barns and other agricultural ventilation systems. Installed at fresh-air inlets, ventilation openings or upstream of secondary filtration equipment, the filter captures coarse airborne dust, fibers and other larger contaminants before they enter fans, air-handling equipment and downstream filters. The reusable media can be cleaned carefully and returned to service when its condition remains suitable, helping reduce routine replacement requirements. Its mechanically stable synthetic fiber structure is suitable for livestock facilities requiring practical maintenance, repeated handling and reliable operation under high ventilation volumes. |

| Structural Components | Synthetic Nonwoven Fiber Media: High-strength synthetic fibers form the primary filtration layer and provide mechanical capture of coarse airborne contaminants. Thermally Bonded Fiber Structure: The bonded media construction helps maintain shape and mechanical integrity during ventilation operation and routine handling. Progressive-Density Structure: Selected versions can use multiple fiber-density layers, with density increasing toward the clean-air side to support depth filtration and dust storage. Optional Support Frame: Filter media can be installed in galvanized steel, stainless steel, polymer or other suitable retaining frames according to the ventilation project. Cut-to-Size Configuration: Media can be supplied in rolls or prepared as individual pads according to the dimensions of ventilation inlets and filter housings. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle | Ventilation air passes through the three-dimensional synthetic fiber network. Coarse dust, fibers and larger suspended contaminants are intercepted on and within the filter media while cleaned air continues into the ventilation system. In progressive-density versions, the upstream section is relatively open and captures larger contaminants, while denser fiber layers toward the clean-air side provide additional particle interception. This depth-loading principle distributes contamination through the media instead of concentrating all dust at the air-entry surface. After the media becomes sufficiently loaded, it can be removed and carefully cleaned when the selected specification permits. Once dry and confirmed to be undamaged, the filter can be returned to service. |

| Installation & Maintenance | Installation: Measure the filter opening or retaining frame and cut the media to the required size when roll material is used. Install the media evenly across the complete airflow opening without gaps, folds or excessive compression. Airflow Direction: For progressive-density media, follow the specified airflow direction so the media density increases toward the clean-air side. Routine Inspection: Inspect the filter periodically for dust loading, clogging, deformation, tearing or other physical damage. Inspection frequency should reflect livestock density, environmental dust concentration and seasonal ventilation demand. Cleaning: Remove the filter carefully and clean it using an approved low-impact method such as gentle washing or spraying. Avoid cleaning methods that may damage the fiber structure. Allow the media to dry completely before reinstallation. Replacement: Replace media that remains excessively restricted after cleaning or shows permanent deformation, damaged fibers or reduced structural integrity. |

| Project Cases | Commercial Pig House: Washable filter media can be installed at fresh-air inlet sections to reduce coarse dust entering centralized ventilation equipment and downstream filtration systems. Poultry House Ventilation: Cut-to-size filter pads can be fitted into distributed air-inlet frames where convenient routine removal and cleaning are required. Dairy Barn Air Handling: Reusable pre-filter media can provide an initial filtration stage for mechanical ventilation and air-handling equipment exposed to agricultural dust. Livestock Building Renovation: Roll media can be cut on site to fit non-standard existing filter frames, making it suitable for ventilation upgrades where original dimensions vary between buildings. |

| Product FAQ | Q: Can this pre-filter be washed and reused? A: Yes. Suitable versions are designed for careful cleaning and reuse. The filter should be inspected after cleaning and replaced if the fiber structure or dimensional stability has been damaged. Q: Is this filter suitable for pig houses? A: Yes. It can be used as a coarse pre-filtration stage in pig-house fresh-air inlet and mechanical ventilation systems when properly selected for the required airflow and dust conditions. Q: Can it be used in poultry houses? A: Yes. The media is suitable for poultry-house ventilation inlets, central air systems and other applications requiring coarse-dust pre-filtration. Q: Can the media size be customized? A: Yes. Roll dimensions and cut-to-size pads can be supplied according to project requirements. Q: How often should the filter be cleaned? A: Cleaning intervals depend on farm dust levels, airflow volume, stocking conditions and seasonal operation. Visual inspection and system pressure monitoring should be used to determine an appropriate maintenance schedule. Q: Is this a replacement for fine filtration? A: No. It is primarily intended as a coarse pre-filter. Projects requiring finer particulate removal should use an appropriate secondary filtration stage. Q: Can the filter be supplied with a frame? A: Filter-media-only and framed configurations can be discussed according to project requirements and installation dimensions. |
