| Product Overview |
The Liquid Feeding Piglet Nursery Pen is an integrated housing solution for weaned piglets that combines modular pen partitions with liquid-feed distribution, feeding troughs, drinking equipment and compatible flooring systems. It is designed for commercial nursery houses where accurate feed delivery, hygienic construction and efficient batch management are important. Liquid feed can be delivered directly to a longitudinal trough through dedicated downpipes positioned along or integrated into the pen partition. Depending on the production strategy, the system can be configured for restricted meal feeding or ad libitum liquid feeding. Integrating the feed outlets with the partition structure can reduce exposed pipework inside the pen and create a cleaner installation. Stainless-steel or other livestock-grade troughs can be selected according to project requirements, while smooth plastic or fiber partitions support routine washing and disinfection. The complete nursery pen can also be configured with contact grids, plastic or concrete slatted flooring, water cups, nipple drinkers, two-climate covers and environmental control equipment according to pig numbers, building dimensions and local farm conditions. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
The liquid feeding system prepares and transports a controlled feed mixture through the main distribution pipeline. At each nursery pen, feed is discharged through dedicated downpipes directly into a longitudinal trough positioned along the pen wall. Depending on the production system, feed can be delivered as scheduled meals or in repeated smaller portions. The feed quantity, number of feeding cycles and recipe are determined by the selected liquid-feeding control system and farm nutrition program. Where the feed outlet is integrated into the pen partition, the downpipe is protected and positioned as part of the structural wall. This arrangement can reduce unnecessary fittings inside the animal area and provide better access to pen surfaces during cleaning. For residual-free feeding configurations, water or another approved cleaning medium can be used between feeding cycles so that feed does not remain for extended periods inside the distribution circuit. The exact operating sequence depends on the selected feeding equipment and control system. The nursery pen, feeding system, drinking equipment, flooring, ventilation and manure management should be designed as an integrated system according to pig age, stocking density and local operating conditions. |
