The pen uses rigid PVC panels as the primary separation surfaces between groups of weaned pigs. The panels are captured inside structural profiles and secured to the supporting floor through brackets, posts and stabilizing components. Animal loads applied to the partitions are transferred from the PVC panels through the surrounding profiles and supporting members to floor anchors or structural supports. Longer partition sections can be reinforced according to span and project requirements. For hygiene control, panel joints are designed to be tight and easily accessible for washing. Smooth PVC surfaces, sealed connections, closed profile ends and sloped or rounded details help minimize areas where organic material could remain after cleaning.
