| Product Overview | The HVAC Duct UV-C Air Disinfection System is an ultraviolet germicidal irradiation solution designed for installation inside ventilation ducts, air handling units and centralized air distribution systems. High-output UV-C lamps irradiate the moving airflow and internal HVAC surfaces, helping reduce airborne microbial load and inhibit biological contamination on duct, coil and air-handling components. For commercial pig farms, poultry houses, breeding facilities and other livestock buildings, the system can be incorporated into ventilation and environmental-control projects to provide continuous air-treatment support without adding liquid disinfectant to the airflow. The modular configuration is suitable for both new livestock farm construction and retrofit installation in existing ventilation systems. Lamp quantity, UV-C power and module dimensions can be selected according to airflow, duct cross-section, air velocity and required UV dose. |

| Working Principle | The UV-C system is installed inside an enclosed ventilation duct or air handling unit. As air moves through the irradiated section, microorganisms suspended in the airflow are exposed to germicidal UV-C energy. UV-C radiation damages microbial genetic material and inhibits replication, helping reduce viable microbial load as treated air continues through the ventilation system. UV-C energy also irradiates exposed internal HVAC surfaces, helping control microbial accumulation on coils, drain areas and duct surfaces where suitable lamp positioning is provided. Treatment performance depends on several engineering factors, including airflow rate, duct dimensions, air velocity, lamp output, UV-C intensity, exposure time, temperature and the target microorganisms. The system should therefore be sized according to actual project operating conditions. |

| Installation & Maintenance | Before installation, confirm duct dimensions, airflow, air velocity, operating temperature, humidity and available service space. These parameters should be used to determine lamp quantity, lamp arrangement and required UV-C output. Flange-mounted systems can be installed by creating the required lamp openings in the duct and securing the external housing to the duct wall. Larger systems can use internal lamp racks that span part or all of the duct cross-section. For new pig farm construction or steel structure livestock buildings, UV-C modules can be included during ventilation-system design to provide suitable mounting space, electrical supply and maintenance access. Routine maintenance includes checking lamp operation, cleaning lamps and reflective surfaces, inspecting electrical connections and replacing UV-C lamps according to their recommended operating life. UV-C radiation can damage eyes and skin. The lamps must not be viewed directly while energized. Electrical isolation, service interlocks and appropriate protective procedures should be used during inspection and maintenance. |

| Project Cases | The HVAC Duct UV-C Air Disinfection System can be incorporated into livestock ventilation projects where centralized airflow passes through defined duct or air-handling sections. In commercial pig farm projects, UV-C modules can be installed in supply or recirculation air sections to support continuous microbial-load management within the ventilation system. In poultry and breeding facilities, larger modular UV-C arrays can be designed according to air volume and duct dimensions, while compact flange-mounted units can be used where installation space is limited. Existing livestock buildings can also be upgraded with retrofit UV-C modules where ventilation duct access, electrical supply and adequate maintenance clearance are available. |

| Product FAQ | Q: Where is the UV-C system installed? A: It can be installed inside ventilation ducts, air handling units or other enclosed centralized airflow sections. Q: Can the system operate continuously? A: Yes. In-duct UV-C equipment can be designed for continuous operation while the ventilation system is running. Q: Can it be installed in an existing HVAC system? A: Yes. Compact flange-mounted configurations are suitable for many retrofit projects, subject to available duct space and electrical access. Q: How is the correct UV-C capacity selected? A: System sizing should consider duct dimensions, airflow rate, air velocity, exposure time and the required UV-C dose. Q: Is the equipment suitable for livestock farms? A: Yes. It can be integrated into suitable ventilation systems in pig farms, poultry facilities, breeding centers and other agricultural buildings. Q: Does the system require chemical disinfectant? A: No routine liquid disinfectant is required for UV-C air treatment. Q: Can multiple UV-C units be installed in one duct? A: Yes. Multiple modules can be arranged side-by-side or in lamp racks according to airflow and duct dimensions. Q: Does UV-C require special safety measures? A: Yes. UV-C lamps should operate inside enclosed equipment, and direct exposure to eyes or skin must be prevented during installation and maintenance. |
