Livestock Farm High-Pressure Odor Control Misting System

Product Name Livestock Farm High-Pressure Odor Control Misting System
Product Image Cattle barn high-pressure misting and odor control system
Product Overview The Livestock Farm High-Pressure Odor Control Misting System is designed to distribute ultra-fine mist containing compatible odor-neutralizing agents throughout livestock production and manure-management areas.

A high-pressure pump delivers prepared liquid through high-pressure tubing to precision misting nozzles positioned around the target area. The fine droplets provide broad atmospheric coverage while minimizing excessive surface wetting when the system is correctly designed and operated.

The system is suitable for commercial pig farms, poultry houses, cattle facilities, manure storage areas, exhaust-air outlets and other agricultural environments where localized odor treatment is required.

Its modular pipeline and nozzle arrangement can be adapted to new pig farm construction, existing farm renovation and steel structure livestock buildings. Pump capacity, nozzle quantity, pipe length and control method can be selected according to project requirements.
Key Features
  • High-Pressure Atomization: Produces very fine mist for efficient distribution of compatible odor-control solutions.
  • Wide-Area Coverage: Multiple nozzles can be arranged along livestock houses, manure areas and ventilation outlets.
  • Automatic Cyclic Operation: Timer control can alternate spraying and pause periods to reduce unnecessary liquid consumption.
  • Expandable Nozzle Network: The system can be enlarged as barn dimensions or odor-control requirements increase.
  • Compatible with Odor Neutralizers: Designed for use with suitable liquid odor-control products according to chemical supplier instructions.
  • Corrosion-Resistant Nozzles: Stainless steel misting orifices are available for demanding agricultural environments.
  • Flexible Installation: Nylon or stainless steel mist lines can be arranged according to farm building structure.
  • Low-Water Protection: Pump configurations with low-water cutoff protection are available.
  • Integrated Filtration: Fine filtration helps protect small nozzle orifices from contamination and blockage.
  • Project Customization: Pump flow, nozzle spacing, tubing length and control strategy can be designed according to project requirements.
Structural Components
  • High-Pressure Misting Pump: Provides the operating pressure required for ultra-fine atomization.
  • Liquid Reservoir: Stores water and compatible prepared odor-neutralizing solution.
  • Water Filter: Helps prevent suspended particles from entering the pump and nozzles.
  • Solenoid Valve: Controls liquid flow during automatic operating cycles.
  • Low-Water Protection: Helps protect the pump when water supply is insufficient.
  • High-Pressure Tubing: Transfers pressurized solution throughout the treatment area.
  • Push-Lock Fittings: Connect mist lines, branches and nozzle assemblies.
  • Ultra-Fine Misting Nozzles: Atomize the liquid into fine droplets for atmospheric distribution.
  • Cyclic Timer: Controls spray and pause intervals according to the operating program.
  • Mounting Clamps and Supports: Secure the mist line to livestock building structures.
Working Principle Water or a properly prepared odor-neutralizing solution is supplied from the reservoir to the high-pressure pump. The pump increases liquid pressure and sends the solution through the distribution pipeline to multiple precision misting nozzles.

At each nozzle, the pressurized liquid is atomized into very fine droplets. These droplets disperse through the air around the livestock house, manure area or exhaust-air zone and provide contact between the treatment solution and odor-containing air.

A cyclic controller can operate the pump at programmed intervals instead of continuously. Spray duration and pause time can be adjusted according to odor load, building ventilation, temperature, humidity and the instructions for the selected odor-control product.

Nozzle positioning should be coordinated with airflow direction so that mist is distributed through the target odor plume rather than concentrated on animals, electrical equipment or building surfaces.

Installation & Maintenance Before installation, identify the primary odor sources, prevailing airflow direction, ventilation outlets and areas requiring treatment. Nozzle lines should then be positioned to allow the fine mist to mix with odor-containing air while minimizing unnecessary surface wetting.

The pump should be installed on a stable surface with access to clean water, electrical power and the prepared odor-control solution where applicable. Suitable filtration should be installed upstream of the high-pressure pump and nozzles.

For new pig farm construction and steel structure buildings, mist lines can be coordinated with ventilation ducts, exhaust fans, manure channels and structural beams during project design.

Routine maintenance includes checking filters, cleaning nozzles, inspecting high-pressure tubing and fittings, confirming pump pressure, checking the reservoir and testing timer or controller operation.

Only compatible odor-neutralizing solutions suitable for the specific livestock application should be used. Mixing ratio, exposure requirements and handling precautions must follow the chemical manufacturer's instructions.
Project Cases High-pressure odor-control misting systems can be installed directly inside livestock buildings or around external odor sources.

In commercial pig farms, nozzle lines can be arranged near exhaust-fan zones, manure collection areas or building perimeters so that fine mist interacts with odor-containing airflow before it disperses beyond the farm.

In cattle and poultry projects, overhead nozzle lines can be installed along suitable barn sections to support odor management while also providing optional dust suppression or environmental misting functions when the system is properly configured.

Large farms can divide the system into multiple independently controlled zones to match different ventilation schedules and odor loads.
Product FAQ Q: What is the main purpose of this system?
