| Product Overview |
The Deep-Litter Free Access Sow Mating Stall is a welfare-oriented breeding and insemination housing system designed to combine controlled individual sow handling with access to a straw-bedded resting and activity area. The sow can remain inside the stall for feeding, inspection, heat detection or insemination and can move into the adjacent loose-housing area when the gate configuration permits. The open-front arrangement can support effective boar contact and visual stimulation during heat detection, while individual side partitions provide a protected working space for breeding operations. A conveniently operated rear and front gate arrangement improves staff access during sow movement, inspection and insemination. When combined with a deep straw-bedded group area, the system allows sows to exercise, rest and interact outside the individual stall. The combination of controlled mating spaces and loose-housing areas makes the system suitable for modern breeding farms seeking flexible management and improved sow movement. The complete layout can be customized for new steel structure pig houses or existing mating-house renovation projects, including stall dimensions, gate arrangements, feeding equipment, water supply, deep-litter area dimensions and aisle configuration. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
Free Movement: When the stall is unlocked, the sow can move between the individual stall and the adjacent deep-litter group area according to the housing and gate configuration. Individual Management: When breeding, feeding, inspection or treatment is required, the sow can be temporarily retained inside the individual stall. Heat Detection and Boar Stimulation: The front section can be arranged to provide effective boar contact, helping farm staff identify standing heat and determine the appropriate insemination time. Protected Feeding: Side partitions separate neighboring sows during feeding and can reduce competition around individual troughs. Deep-Litter Activity Area: Outside the stall, a straw-bedded area provides space for resting, movement and group interaction. Bedding management is designed separately according to stocking density, manure strategy and local farm conditions. The individual stalls and group area function as one integrated breeding-house system. Pen layout, flooring, bedding depth, ventilation, feeding and manure handling should therefore be coordinated during project design. |
