| Product Overview |
The Free Access Sow Gestation Stall is a flexible housing system developed for breeding and pregnant sows in modern commercial pig farms. It combines the freedom of group housing with the protection and management advantages of an individual feeding stall. Sows can voluntarily enter an available stall for feeding or resting and leave the stall independently. The gate mechanism is designed to prevent another sow from entering an occupied stall, helping reduce competition and aggression during feeding. Individual or centralized locking can also be incorporated for insemination, pregnancy checking, veterinary treatment and routine herd management. The system is normally manufactured from heavy-duty hot-dip galvanized steel and can be integrated with automatic feeding, drinking, slatted flooring, group resting areas and manure-management systems. Modular installation makes it suitable for new steel-structure pig houses and renovation of existing sow facilities. |
