Product Overview

The Multi-Tier Poultry Manure Belt Dryer is an automatic manure treatment system designed to reduce moisture in fresh poultry manure by combining vertically arranged perforated conveyor belts with controlled airflow.

Fresh manure is distributed across the upper drying level and gradually transferred through multiple tiers. Air passes through the perforated belt surface and manure layer, promoting evaporation while the material moves through successive drying stages.

The system can utilize ventilation air from poultry houses and can also be integrated with independent fans where additional airflow is required. SHEWUYOU can configure dryer size, tier quantity, belt width, airflow arrangement and discharge equipment according to farm capacity and project requirements.

Key Features
  • Multi-tier drying structure: Stacked conveyor levels provide a large drying area within a compact footprint.
  • Perforated drying belts: Allow controlled airflow to pass through the manure layer for effective moisture removal.
  • Ventilation-air utilization: Poultry-house exhaust air can be used as a drying energy source where project conditions permit.
  • Uniform manure distribution: The inlet distributor spreads fresh manure across the belt to support consistent drying.
  • Staged material transfer: Manure moves progressively from upper to lower belts for extended air contact.
  • Reduced manure volume: Moisture removal lowers material weight and storage volume.
  • Improved manure handling: Drier manure is easier to transport, store and process further.
  • Automatic operation: Belt movement, filling and discharge can be controlled as part of an integrated manure management system.
  • Corrosion-resistant structure: Suitable galvanized or coated metal components can be selected for poultry manure environments.
  • Modular configuration: Dryer dimensions and processing capacity can be adapted according to project requirements.
Structural Components
  • Main Dryer Frame: Supports the complete vertical multi-tier conveyor structure.
  • Perforated Drying Belts: Carry manure while allowing drying air to pass through the material.
  • Manure Distributor: Spreads incoming manure evenly across the first drying belt.
  • Drive Units: Move individual belt levels according to the programmed drying cycle.
  • Drive and Return Rollers: Guide continuous belt movement.
  • Tensioning Assemblies: Maintain suitable belt tension and tracking.
  • Air Distribution System: Directs ventilation air through the drying belts and manure layer.
  • Tier Transfer Sections: Move manure between successive drying levels.
  • Discharge Conveyor: Transfers dried manure toward storage or downstream processing equipment.
  • Electrical Control System: Coordinates loading, belt movement, sensors and discharge operations.
Working Principle

Fresh poultry manure is transferred from the manure collection system to the dryer inlet. A distribution unit spreads the material evenly across the upper perforated belt.

Ventilation air passes through the perforated belt and manure layer, allowing moisture to evaporate. The drying process can use poultry-house exhaust airflow and can be supplemented by independent fans where required.

At programmed intervals, the conveyor belts move and transfer the manure to the next tier. This staged transfer redistributes the material and exposes additional surfaces to the drying airflow.

After passing through the required drying stages, the manure reaches the bottom level and is discharged onto a cross conveyor for storage, transportation, composting or fertilizer processing.

Product FAQ

Q1: What is a Multi-Tier Poultry Manure Belt Dryer?

It is a manure drying system that uses several vertically arranged perforated conveyor belts and controlled airflow to remove moisture from poultry manure.

Q2: Why are perforated belts used?

The perforations allow drying air to pass through the manure layer and support moisture evaporation.

Q3: Can poultry-house exhaust air be used?

Yes. Poultry-house ventilation air can be used as the primary drying airflow when the farm layout and operating conditions are suitable.

Q4: Can additional fans be installed?

Yes. Independent fans can be incorporated when additional airflow is required.

Q5: Why use multiple drying tiers?

Multiple tiers increase the available drying surface while keeping the overall equipment footprint relatively compact.

Q6: Can the dryer size be customized?

Yes. Belt width, dryer length, tier quantity and processing capacity can be selected according to project requirements.

Q7: What affects the final manure moisture level?

Initial moisture, manure layer thickness, airflow, temperature, humidity and residence time all affect drying performance.
