| Product Overview |
The Broiler Cage Manure Belt System is an automated manure collection and conveying solution designed for multi-tier broiler cage installations and intensive poultry production facilities. A continuous polypropylene belt is installed beneath each cage tier or manure collection level to receive droppings directly from the birds. During manure removal, the belt transports accumulated manure toward the drive end of the cage row. Scraping components separate residual material from the belt surface and discharge the manure onto a transverse conveyor. An optional inclined conveyor can then transfer the manure outside the poultry house or directly into a collection vehicle. Regular manure removal helps maintain cleaner cage rows and supports better poultry-house microclimate management by limiting prolonged manure accumulation beneath the birds. The system can be integrated with feeding, drinking, ventilation and environmental-control equipment in commercial steel structure poultry houses. |

| Working Principle |
Poultry manure falls from the broiler cage floor onto the polypropylene belt positioned underneath each cage tier. The manure remains on the belt until the programmed or manually initiated cleaning cycle begins. The geared drive rotates the drive roller and pulls the manure belt toward the discharge end. The tension station maintains suitable belt tension and helps keep the belt running correctly along the cage row. At the drive end, wear-resistant scraping components remove manure from the belt surface. The discharged manure falls onto a transverse conveyor that collects material from the cage tiers or multiple cage rows. Where required, the transverse conveyor feeds an inclined manure conveyor for transport outside the poultry building and discharge into a manure collection area, storage facility or transport vehicle. |

| Product FAQ |
Q1: How does a broiler cage manure belt system work? Manure falls onto a belt beneath the birds. During the cleaning cycle, the belt transports the manure to the cage-row end, where scrapers discharge it onto a cross conveyor. Q2: Why is polypropylene commonly used for manure belts? Polypropylene provides useful tensile strength, chemical resistance and low surface adhesion, making it suitable for poultry manure collection and repeated cleaning. Q3: Can the system be used on multi-tier broiler cages? Yes. A separate manure belt can be installed beneath each tier and connected to a centralized manure discharge arrangement. Q4: Can manure be discharged directly outside the poultry house? Yes. A transverse conveyor can collect manure from the cage rows and feed an inclined conveyor for external discharge. Q5: How often should the manure belt operate? Cleaning frequency should be determined according to stocking density, bird age, manure accumulation, ventilation strategy and farm management requirements. Q6: Can the belt dimensions be customized? Yes. Belt width and length can be configured according to cage dimensions and poultry-house layout. Q7: Can the manure removal system be automated? Yes. Drive units can be integrated with centralized poultry-house controls or operated according to programmed manure-removal schedules. Q8: Can SHEWUYOU supply the complete manure conveying system? Yes. The project can include PP manure belts, drive and tension units, scrapers, cross conveyors, inclined discharge conveyors, electrical controls and supporting structures. |
