The Ventilated Manure Belt Drying System is designed for commercial layer houses equipped with automatic manure collection belts. Controlled airflow is directed over or through the manure layer to accelerate moisture evaporation before manure is removed from the poultry house.

Working Principle / Structural Principle

Fresh manure falls through the cage floor onto the manure belt beneath each cage tier. The ventilation system directs air along the belt or through the manure layer.

As the airflow passes across the manure surface, moisture evaporates into the poultry-house exhaust air. Where perforated ducts or dedicated airflow equipment are installed, air distribution can be balanced along the complete cage row.

The manure remains on the belt for the selected drying period before the manure removal cycle begins. The belt then transports the dried or partially dried material toward the cage-row discharge point.

Manure can subsequently be transferred by cross conveyors and inclined conveyors to storage, composting or further drying equipment.

Installation & Maintenance
