The Poultry Manure Elevator Conveyor is a heavy-duty inclined conveying system designed to transfer manure from poultry-house collection equipment to a higher discharge point. It can receive manure from horizontal cross belts, cage manure belts or other collection conveyors and elevate the material for loading into trucks, storage facilities or downstream treatment equipment. In a typical automated layer-house installation, manure collected by polypropylene belts beneath the cages is discharged onto a horizontal cross conveyor. The cross conveyor then feeds the elevator either in line or at approximately 90 degrees, depending on the building and manure-handling layout. The inclined conveyor uses a reinforced support frame, durable belt, drive rollers and retaining components to transport poultry manure reliably at the required elevation. Manure from the longitudinal belts beneath the poultry cages is first discharged onto a horizontal cross conveyor. This conveyor transports the material toward the manure elevator positioned outside or at the end of the poultry house. The manure enters the lower receiving section of the inclined elevator. The moving conveyor belt carries the material upward while side panels and retaining components help prevent manure from falling from the belt during elevation. At the upper discharge point, manure falls directly into a truck, trailer, storage conveyor, manure store or downstream processing system. Conveyor routing can also be arranged to distribute manure within a storage facility. The complete manure-handling sequence can be coordinated through a central control panel so that cage belts, cross conveyors and elevator conveyors operate in the correct order. |

Installation should begin with confirmation of the manure collection point, required discharge height, conveyor angle and supporting foundation. The elevator frame must be securely anchored to the concrete foundation or approved steel structure. The lower receiving section should be aligned accurately with the horizontal manure conveyor to minimize material loss. At the upper end, sufficient clearance should be provided for trucks, trailers, storage conveyors or manure-processing equipment. Before commissioning, technicians should check belt alignment, tension, roller rotation, scraper contact, drive direction, safety guards and emergency-stop functions. The complete manure removal line should then be tested under load.
