Working Principle / Structural Principle

During normal breeder operation, the manure belt is positioned horizontally beneath the slatted platform and collects manure falling through the floor openings.

When a manure removal cycle starts, the pivoting guide unit redirects the belt above the poultry-house floor and the drive drum winds the belt onto itself. As the belt travels toward the drum, accumulated manure separates from the belt and falls onto a transverse conveyor.

Scrapers remove remaining manure from the belt surface before the belt is wound onto the drum. The cross conveyor transports manure toward an external manure conveyor, storage area, trailer or treatment facility.

After manure removal is complete, the cable winch pulls the belt back beneath the slatted area. Limit switches can automatically stop the drive when the belt reaches the required final position.

Installation & Maintenance

The manure belt and supporting structure should be installed beneath the planned slatted-floor area according to the approved breeder-house layout. The drive drum, pivoting mechanism and cable return system must be correctly aligned with the manure pit centerline.
