| Product Overview |
The Chick Nipple Drinker System is an automatic closed-line poultry watering solution designed for day-old chicks and growing birds in commercial broiler, pullet and breeder-rearing facilities. It delivers clean water directly through nipple valves while helping reduce contamination from litter, feed and dust. For young birds, 360-degree nipple configurations are particularly practical because chicks can activate the nipple from both vertical and lateral directions. A visible water droplet at the lower pin helps newly placed chicks locate the drinking point quickly during the first days of brooding. The complete drinking line can include nipple valves, drinking pipes, pressure regulators, support profiles, optional drip cups, flushing units, suspension equipment and water-treatment accessories. Line length, nipple spacing and flow configuration can be selected according to flock size, bird age and poultry-house layout. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
Filtered water enters the drinking line through the pressure-regulation unit. The regulator reduces the supply pressure to the low level required for poultry nipple operation. When a chick touches the nipple pin, the internal valve opens and releases a small amount of water. On a 360-degree nipple, the bird can activate the valve by pushing upward or from the side, which makes drinking easier for young chicks. When the bird stops actuating the nipple, the valve closes automatically. This demand-based principle limits open standing water and helps keep the brooding area drier. The entire drinking line can be raised as birds grow, while flushing components allow higher water flow through the pipe during sanitation and water-line cleaning. |

| Applications |
The system is particularly suitable for commercial brooding facilities where newly placed chicks must quickly locate clean drinking water while maintaining dry litter and hygienic house conditions. For complete poultry projects, chick nipple drinking lines can be coordinated with brooder heating, automatic pan feeding, ventilation, lighting, cooling and environmental-control systems. |

| Installation & Maintenance |
Line Layout: Determine line quantity and spacing according to poultry-house width, chick numbers and drinking-access requirements. Suspension Installation: Install support wires and hangers at suitable intervals so the drinking line remains straight and stable. Initial Height: At chick placement, position the nipple at an easily reachable height so chicks can locate and activate the drinking point quickly. Progressive Adjustment: Raise the line gradually as birds grow so they stretch slightly upward while drinking. Pressure Setting: Adjust water pressure according to chick age, nipple flow characteristics and ambient temperature. Pipeline Flushing: Flush the complete line before chick placement and regularly during production to maintain fresh water and reduce sediment. Water Hygiene: Maintain suitable filtration and sanitation to control mineral deposits, organic contamination and biofilm. Leak Inspection: Regularly inspect nipple valves, pipe joints, regulators and end units for dripping or abnormal flow. Between Flocks: Clean, disinfect and flush the drinking system thoroughly before the next chick placement. |

| Project Cases |
In commercial broiler houses, multiple parallel chick nipple drinking lines can be installed between automatic feed lines to provide uniform water access throughout the brooding area. 360-degree nipple configurations are especially useful during the first days because newly placed chicks can activate the valve from different directions while learning to use the automatic drinking system. For new steel structure poultry houses, drinking-line suspension points, water supply pipes, filters, regulators and flushing components can be planned together with feeding and environmental-control equipment. |
