| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
Filtered water enters the drinking line through the water supply and pressure-regulation unit. The regulator reduces and stabilizes line pressure so the nipple valves can operate within the required range. When a bird touches or pushes the nipple pin, the internal valve opens and releases drinking water. Once the bird stops actuating the nipple, the valve closes automatically. 360-degree nipple configurations can respond to both vertical and lateral actuation, making water easier to access for young birds. Other nipple types are designed primarily for vertical actuation and can be selected according to bird category and required flow characteristics. The end-of-line flushing unit allows higher-volume water flow during sanitation and flushing, helping replace warm or stagnant water and remove residues from the drinking pipe. |

Line Layout: Determine the number and location of drinking lines according to poultry house width, bird population and drinking access requirements. Pressure Regulator Installation: Position the regulator at the line inlet and set the operating pressure according to nipple type and bird age. Height Adjustment: Set nipple height so birds reach upward comfortably to activate the valve. Raise the line progressively as the flock grows. Pipeline Flushing: Flush the complete drinking system before chick placement and regularly during production to remove residues and refresh standing water.
