| Product Overview |
The Broiler Nipple Drinking System is an automatic poultry watering solution designed to provide broilers with continuous access to fresh and hygienic drinking water from placement through market age. Water is delivered directly through individual nipple valves, helping reduce open-water contamination and unnecessary water spillage inside the poultry house. A complete drinking line typically integrates stainless steel nipple valves, drinking-water pipes, optional drip cups, pressure regulators, water-level indicators, flushing components, galvanized or aluminum support rails, suspension cables and lifting equipment. The modular configuration allows the drinking height and operating water pressure to be adjusted as birds grow. The system is suitable for floor-reared commercial broiler houses, environmentally controlled poultry buildings and large-scale poultry farm projects. Drinking-line length, nipple spacing, nipple quantity, pressure regulation, suspension arrangement and water-treatment accessories can be configured according to flock capacity, house dimensions, climate and farm management requirements. |

| Working Principle |
Water from the farm supply enters the drinking system through the front-end water treatment and pressure-control section. Depending on project configuration, this section can incorporate filtration, pressure regulation, water metering and medication dosing equipment. Regulated water then enters the drinking pipes and is distributed along the poultry house. Each nipple remains closed until activated by a bird. When a broiler pushes the nipple triggering pin, a controlled quantity of water is released for drinking. Modern broiler nipples can be selected for easy multidirectional actuation. Young chicks apply relatively light pressure while older birds naturally actuate the nipple more strongly, allowing the drinking system to support different growth stages when correctly adjusted. The pressure regulator and water-level indicator are used to manage operating conditions along the line. At the end of the production cycle or during scheduled maintenance, the system can be flushed to help remove sediment and maintain water-line cleanliness. |

| Technical Specifications |
Final nipple flow rate, nipple spacing, birds-per-nipple ratio, water pressure, line length and regulator configuration should be determined according to broiler age, stocking density, climate, water quality and poultry-house design. |

| Installation & Maintenance |
Drinking lines should be installed parallel to the poultry-house feeding system and suspended from structurally suitable roof members or designated steel building components. Correct alignment, pressure adjustment and drinking height are important for reliable system performance.

| Product FAQ |
Q1: Why are nipple drinking systems widely used in broiler houses? Closed nipple systems provide water directly at the drinking point, helping reduce contamination and unnecessary spillage compared with open drinking systems. Q2: Can day-old chicks use the nipple drinking system? Yes. Properly selected 360-degree broiler nipples are designed for easy activation, while correct initial line height and water pressure help chicks locate and use the drinkers. Q3: Are drip cups necessary? The requirement depends on nipple design and farm management. Drip cups can help collect occasional droplets and support drier litter conditions. Q4: Can the water pressure be adjusted? Yes. A poultry pressure regulator is used to adjust operating conditions according to bird age, nipple specification and water demand. Q5: Can the drinking line be raised as broilers grow? Yes. The suspended line can be raised using a winch and cable system so nipple height follows flock growth. Q6: Can medication be delivered through the drinking system? A compatible dosing unit can be integrated into the front water-supply section when required by the farm water-management program. Q7: How should the drinking lines be cleaned? Routine flushing, filter maintenance and cleaning procedures should follow the farm water-quality and sanitation program and the requirements of the selected equipment. Q8: Can SHEWUYOU design a complete system for a poultry house? Yes. Drinking-line quantity, nipple spacing, regulators, filtration, suspension equipment and related components can be configured according to poultry-house dimensions, stocking capacity and project requirements. |
