| Product Overview |
The Breeder Nipple Drinking System is a closed-line automatic water supply solution designed for broiler breeder rearing and hatching-egg production houses. It provides clean drinking water directly through bird-actuated nipple valves while helping reduce open-water contamination and unnecessary moisture inside the poultry house. The complete system can include stainless steel nipple drinkers, drinking pipes, pressure regulators, flushing units, drip cups, support profiles, anti-roost protection and suspension equipment. The line can be positioned above slatted or litter areas according to breeder-house layout and management requirements. Different nipple flow characteristics and pipe configurations are available for breeder flocks. Higher-capacity configurations can be selected for mature breeders or warm-climate projects where water consumption is higher. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
Filtered water enters the breeder drinking line through the water connection and pressure-regulation unit. The regulator reduces the supply pressure to the low operating pressure required by poultry nipple valves. When a breeder bird actuates the nipple pin, the internal valve opens and releases water directly to the bird. The valve closes automatically when the bird stops applying pressure. 360-degree nipples can respond to both vertical and lateral actuation, making them suitable for growing birds. Vertical-only screw nipples can provide higher water flow and are commonly selected for mature breeder applications. Drip cups collect occasional splash water, while the flushing system allows higher-volume flow through the pipeline during cleaning and water-line maintenance. |

| Applications |
In breeder production houses, drinking lines are commonly positioned close to the nesting area so hens can access water without excessive movement between the feeding, drinking and nesting zones. For complete breeder projects, nipple drinking lines can be coordinated with breeder feeding systems, automatic nests, slatted manure pits, feed silos, lighting, ventilation and environmental-control equipment. |

| Installation & Maintenance |
Line Position: Arrange drinking lines according to breeder-house layout, with convenient access between feeding and nesting areas. Suspension Installation: Install hangers and support wires at suitable intervals so the drinking pipe remains straight and stable. Water Connection Unit: Install filtration, pressure regulation, water metering and optional medication equipment in the service area. Pressure Adjustment: Set operating pressure according to breeder age, nipple type, climate and required water flow. Height Adjustment: Position the nipples so birds stretch slightly upward while drinking. Adjust line height as breeder birds grow. Anti-Roost Installation: Fit anti-roost protection to suspended lines to prevent birds from perching on the pipe and suspension profile. Pipeline Flushing: Flush the system before flock placement and regularly during production to remove sediment and refresh standing water. Water Hygiene: Maintain appropriate filtration and sanitation procedures to control deposits and biofilm inside the drinking system. Routine Inspection: Check nipples, drip cups, regulators, pipe joints, suspension cables and flushing units for leakage, blockage or damage. |

| Project Cases |
In a commercial broiler breeder production house, suspended nipple lines can be installed above the slatted manure area close to the nest system, providing convenient water access while keeping the litter area drier. For breeder farms in warm regions, higher-capacity nipple pipes and suitable high-flow nipple configurations can be selected to accommodate increased daily water consumption. In new steel structure poultry projects, drinking-line location, suspension points, water supply pipes and service-room equipment can be planned together with nests, breeder feeders and environmental-control systems. |
