| Product Overview |
The Ceramic Lamb Heat Emitter is a light-free infrared radiant heating element designed to provide localized warmth for newborn lambs, goat kids, piglets and other young livestock. Unlike conventional illuminated heat bulbs, the ceramic element produces heat without visible light, making it suitable for continuous day-and-night warming where a normal lighting cycle is preferred. The ceramic heating element converts electrical energy into infrared radiant heat and directs warmth toward the animal resting zone. Common screw-base configurations use an E27 connection and can be installed in a compatible high-temperature ceramic lamp holder or guarded livestock heat-lamp fixture. The emitter is suitable for lambing pens, nursery areas, creep zones, veterinary recovery spaces and livestock housing projects. Wattage, voltage, fixture type and heating layout can be selected according to local climate, animal age and project requirements. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
Electrical current passes through the internal resistance element and heats the ceramic body. The heated ceramic surface then releases infrared radiant energy toward the animal resting area. Because the emitter does not depend on visible-light production, electrical energy is used primarily for heat generation. The radiant heat warms animals and nearby surfaces directly and can therefore be used to establish a localized microclimate within a larger lambing or nursery building. Heating intensity at animal level depends on emitter wattage, suspension height, fixture design, room temperature, airflow and pen geometry. A suitable thermostat or temperature controller is recommended where precise environmental control is required. |

| Product FAQ |
Q1: Does a ceramic heat emitter produce visible light? No. Ceramic heat emitters are designed to produce infrared heat without visible light, allowing them to provide warmth without continuously illuminating the livestock resting area. Q2: Can the emitter be used for lambs and goat kids? Yes. When properly sized, guarded and installed, ceramic radiant heaters can provide localized supplementary warmth for lambs, goat kids and other young livestock. Q3: What wattages are available? Common ceramic emitter ranges include 50 W, 75 W, 100 W, 150 W, 200 W and 250 W. Final wattage should be selected according to the required warming area and installation conditions. Q4: Can it be installed in a standard plastic lamp holder? A high-temperature ceramic socket rated for the selected emitter should be used. Ordinary plastic lamp holders may not be suitable for the temperatures produced by ceramic heaters. Q5: Does the emitter need a thermostat? A compatible thermostat or heat controller is recommended where accurate temperature management is required, especially for continuous nursery or creep-area heating. Q6: Can it run during the night? Yes. Because it does not emit visible light, a ceramic emitter can provide supplementary nighttime warmth when used with a properly rated fixture and suitable temperature control. Q7: Is a protective guard necessary? A suitable livestock heat-lamp guard is strongly recommended to reduce the risk of animals or combustible materials contacting the hot ceramic surface. Q8: Can SHEWUYOU supply a complete heating set? Yes. Ceramic emitters, compatible sockets, guards, suspension components, electrical configurations and temperature controllers can be supplied according to project requirements. |
