| Product Overview |
The Adjustable Lamb Heat Lamp Stand is a freestanding suspension support designed for positioning a compatible livestock heat lamp above a localized warming area. Its adjustable chain enables the operator to change the distance between the heat source and the animal resting zone without relying on ceilings, walls or improvised attachment points. The reference stand has a broad 28 × 28 in footprint and an erected height of approximately 42 in. A 26 in suspension chain and heat lamp clip allow the lamp height to be adjusted according to the required warming intensity. When equipped with a suitable livestock heat lamp, the stand can be used in lambing pens, goat kid nurseries, poultry brooders and other young-animal care areas. Its portable structure is useful in temporary lambing facilities, modular livestock pens and steel-structure farm buildings where permanent overhead suspension points may not be available. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
The stand creates an independent overhead suspension point for a compatible livestock heat lamp. The lamp hangs from the central chain rather than being clipped to a wall, pen panel or other improvised structure. The vertical distance between the lamp and the animal resting area can be changed by selecting a different position on the adjustment chain. Raising the lamp generally increases the heated coverage area and reduces surface heat intensity, while lowering it concentrates the heat over a smaller zone. Final lamp height should always be determined according to lamp output, livestock species, animal age, ambient temperature, bedding conditions and the heat lamp manufacturer's installation instructions. |

| Product FAQ |
Q1: What is the main purpose of the heat lamp stand? It provides an independent suspension point for a compatible livestock heat lamp and allows the lamp height to be adjusted above a localized warming area. Q2: How is the lamp height adjusted? The reference stand uses a 26 in chain. The lamp clip can be attached at the preferred chain position to raise or lower the heat source. Q3: What is the footprint of the reference stand? The erected stand has an approximately 28 × 28 in footprint and a height of approximately 42 in. Q4: Is the heat lamp included? The reference stand is supplied as a lamp hanging system, while the heat lamp is sold separately. Complete sets can be configured according to project requirements. Q5: Can it be used in lambing pens? Yes. When paired with a suitable livestock heat lamp, a freestanding adjustable support can provide a localized warming zone for lambs and other young livestock. Q6: Does the stand require ceiling installation? No. The stand is freestanding, making it useful where no suitable overhead attachment point is available. Q7: Can replacement parts be supplied? The reference design uses individually replaceable components including legs, braces, feet, top cap, chain and hanger. Q8: Can the dimensions or chain length be customized? Alternative stand dimensions, hanging arrangements and compatible heat lamp configurations are available according to project requirements. |
