Working Principle / Structural Principle

Electrical current passes through the carbon fiber heating element, generating high-output radiant heat. The reflector distributes the thermal radiation toward the livestock resting and activity area below the suspended heater.

Because the unit produces greater heat output than a conventional livestock heat lamp, it is normally suspended higher above the animals. Increased mounting height allows heat to spread across a wider floor area while helping reduce concentrated hot spots.

Installation & Maintenance

Installation:

  1. Suspend the heater from a structurally secure point using the designated hanging chain.
  2. Install the carbon fiber heater higher than a conventional livestock heat lamp so its high-output radiant heat can spread over the intended area.
  3. Position the unit where livestock cannot strike, pull or otherwise disturb the heater or power cable.
  4. Maintain adequate clearance from straw, hay, timber, curtains, plastic pen components and other combustible materials.
