| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
During normal operation, the drinker is connected to a pressurized livestock water supply. As animals consume water, the float drops and opens the inlet valve. Fresh water enters the bowl until the preset operating level is restored, after which the float closes the valve automatically.
When ambient temperature falls to approximately 5°C, the integrated thermostat activates the 24 V heating element. The heater supplies localized warmth around the valve area to reduce the risk of freezing. When temperature rises to approximately 12°C, the thermostat switches the heater off.
The incoming water pipe must also be protected in freezing climates. A separate 24 V frost-protection heating cable can be installed along exposed feed pipes according to local climate and project conditions.

| Installation & Maintenance |
Mounting: Install the drinking bowl securely on a stable wall, livestock partition or suitable structural support. Select mounting height according to animal size and drinking behaviour.
Water Connection: Connect the 1/2-inch inlet to a clean pressurized livestock water supply. The connection can be arranged from either side according to pipeline layout.
Electrical Supply: Connect the 24 V heating element through an appropriately sized transformer. Electrical installation should comply with applicable local standards and be completed by qualified personnel.
Feed-Pipe Protection: The drinker's valve heater does not automatically protect the entire incoming pipeline. In freezing environments, exposed water pipes should be protected with suitable heating cable and insulation.
Cleaning: Use the bowl drain plug to empty the drinking area and remove feed particles, sediment and organic contamination.
