The drinking bowl is connected to the livestock facility water supply. As sheep consume water, the float moves downward and opens the inlet valve. Fresh water enters automatically until the preset operating level is restored, after which the float closes the valve. During freezing conditions, the integrated frost-protection thermostat activates the heating cable. Heat is transferred around the bowl and valve area, reducing the risk of ice formation. The lower protective cover helps limit heat loss and improves heating efficiency. On configurations with auxiliary pipe heating, additional heating cable extends along the incoming pipeline to provide extra protection between the water connection and drinking bowl. Correct insulation and installation remain essential for dependable winter operation. |

| Installation & Maintenance |
Mounting Position: Install the drinking bowl at an appropriate height for sheep or goats. Secure it firmly to a structurally adequate wall, livestock partition or suitable mounting pipe.
