The feeder is connected to a clean water supply and the appropriate electrical source. Dry milk replacer is loaded into the hopper, while the integrated tank heats water for milk preparation. When the feeding circuit requires additional milk, the machine automatically meters warm water and powdered milk replacer into the mixing section. The two components are blended at the selected concentration to produce a fresh portion of liquid feed. Prepared milk is available through tubing connected to four teat stations. Lambs or goat kids suckle from the teats according to demand, allowing the machine to serve a group continuously without repeated manual preparation. The on-demand mixing principle helps reduce milk replacer waste and supports a more consistent supply of freshly prepared milk compared with preparing large batches manually. |
