The feeder is connected to a clean water source and the appropriate electrical supply. Milk replacer powder is loaded into the hopper, while the integrated boiler heats and maintains water at the selected preparation temperature. When milk is required, the machine automatically dispenses a programmed quantity of warm water and milk replacer powder into the mixing chamber. Intensive mixing produces a fresh, homogeneous portion with the selected concentration. The prepared milk is available through suction hoses connected to teat stations positioned in the animal pens. Lambs or goat kids suckle directly from the teat and obtain milk according to demand. Because small portions are prepared repeatedly rather than holding a large volume of premixed milk for long periods, the system supports consistent feed temperature and fresh preparation during continuous group feeding. For high-capacity installations, multiple feeding stations can be distributed between nursery groups so that one central machine serves a larger population while maintaining convenient access to the teats. |
