Product Overview

The Curve Egg Conveyor is a modular automatic egg transport system designed to move eggs smoothly between poultry houses, cage-row collection equipment, cross conveyors, egg rooms and downstream grading or packing equipment.

Unlike straight-only conveyor layouts, the curved conveyor can be configured around building columns, aisles, equipment areas and differences in installation height. This makes it especially suitable for commercial layer farms where the collection route must adapt to the actual poultry-house and steel structure building layout.

The conveyor uses a supported open-chain transport surface designed to maintain stable egg movement through straight sections, horizontal bends and elevation transitions. SHEWUYOU can configure conveyor width, route, bend arrangement, support structure, drive position and transfer interfaces according to project requirements.

Key Features
  • Flexible routing: Adapts to horizontal curves, elevation changes and complex poultry-house layouts.
  • Gentle egg handling: Open cross-bar chain construction supports eggs while reducing uncontrolled rolling and impact.
  • Smooth curve transport: Conveyor geometry is designed to maintain stable egg flow through bends without excessive accumulation at the inner radius.
  • Modular construction: Straight sections, bends, drive units, tensioning units and transfer components can be combined according to the project.
  • Elevation capability: Pivot and inclined sections can be integrated where different conveyor heights are required.
  • Corrosion-resistant components: Galvanized and coated metal components are suitable for demanding poultry production environments.
  • Centralized egg collection: Multiple poultry-house collection lines can be connected to a common egg handling or packing area.
  • Reduced manual handling: Continuous transport improves farm workflow and reduces repeated manual egg transfer.
  • Project-specific layout: Conveyor length, width, bend direction and drive arrangement are customizable.
Structural Components
  • Conveyor Chain: Supports eggs continuously through straight and curved transport sections.
  • Cross Bars: Form the egg-carrying surface and help maintain controlled spacing during transport.
  • Side Rails: Guide eggs along the transport route and protect the conveyor edges.
  • Curve Sections: Allow directional changes according to building layout.
  • Pivot Sections: Provide controlled transition where conveyor elevation needs to change.
  • Drive Unit: Powers the conveyor chain and maintains the required operating speed.
  • Tensioning Unit: Maintains correct chain tension for reliable continuous operation.
  • Transfer Unit: Guides eggs smoothly onto or away from the conveyor.
  • Support or Suspension System: Secures the conveyor to floor-mounted frames or overhead building structure.
  • Safety Guards: Protect drive and moving components where required.
Working Principle

Eggs enter the Curve Egg Conveyor from a longitudinal collection belt, elevator, lift system or another transfer conveyor. The driven chain carries the eggs continuously toward the collection room or packing equipment.

At curved sections, the cross-bar transport surface and guide structure maintain a controlled egg path while the chain follows the selected bend radius. This helps prevent eggs from collecting excessively on the inside of the curve.

Where the installation route requires a change in height, pivot or inclined sections can be incorporated into the conveyor layout. Eggs then continue toward a collection table, grader, farm packer or centralized processing line.

Installation & Maintenance

Installation

  1. Confirm the egg transport route, inlet position, outlet position and required elevation changes.
  2. Mark the conveyor centerline and support locations according to the approved project drawing.
  3. Install floor-mounted frames or suspension brackets and verify alignment.
  4. Assemble straight conveyor sections, curves and pivot components in sequence.
  5. Install the conveyor chain and adjust chain tension.
  6. Mount the drive unit and connect the inlet and discharge transfer sections.
  7. Install protective guards and electrical control components.
  8. Run the conveyor without eggs and check chain tracking through all bends.
  9. Perform a controlled egg transport test before full production operation.

Maintenance

  • Inspect conveyor chain condition and tension regularly.
  • Check curve sections for correct chain tracking and smooth movement.
  • Keep the egg-carrying surface free from broken shells and accumulated debris.
  • Inspect drive units, bearings and tensioning components according to the maintenance schedule.
  • Check transfer points for excessive drops or misalignment.
  • Maintain lubrication where required by the selected chain and drive configuration.
  • Replace worn cross bars, guides or drive components when required.
Project Cases

Curve egg conveyors are particularly suitable for layer projects where straight-line transportation is not possible because of poultry-house arrangement, structural columns, existing equipment or differences in elevation. SHEWUYOU can prepare a project-specific conveyor layout based on building drawings, egg collection capacity, cage-row positions and packing-room location.

Product FAQ

Q1: What is a Curve Egg Conveyor?

It is an automatic egg transport conveyor designed to follow curved and changing routes between poultry production equipment and centralized collection areas.

Q2: Why use a curved conveyor instead of a straight conveyor?

A curved conveyor provides greater layout flexibility when the egg transport route must pass around columns, walls, aisles or other farm equipment.

Q3: Can the conveyor change elevation?

Yes. Suitable pivot or inclined sections can be incorporated according to the required installation route.

Q4: Does the conveyor handle eggs gently through curves?

Yes. The supported cross-bar conveyor structure and controlled curve geometry are designed for smooth egg movement through directional changes.

Q5: Can conveyor dimensions be customized?

Yes. Width, length, bends, support arrangement and transfer positions can be designed according to project requirements.

Q6: Can the system connect multiple poultry houses to one egg room?

Yes. A project-specific conveyor network can transport eggs from different houses toward a centralized collection or packing area.

Q7: Can it connect with an egg elevator or grading machine?

Yes. Transfer sections can be configured to integrate with elevators, cross conveyors, collection tables, graders and farm packers.

Q8: Can SHEWUYOU design the complete egg transport layout?
