Working Principle

Eggs laid in the poultry housing system roll onto longitudinal egg belts and travel toward the end of each cage row. At the elevator inlet, transfer components guide the eggs from each tier onto dedicated baskets or sections of the vertical elevator chain.

The driven elevator chain moves the eggs vertically while maintaining controlled spacing. The basket structure supports individual eggs during movement and helps limit direct collisions between eggs.

At the selected discharge height, the basket geometry and controlled rotation guide the eggs onto the cross conveyor. The cross conveyor then transports them toward a collection table, grading machine, egg packer or central egg room.
