| Product Overview |
The Smart Cloud Silo Weighing System is an intelligent feed inventory management solution designed for commercial pig farms, poultry farms, livestock production groups and integrated agricultural projects. It combines silo load cells, an intelligent weighing controller and a cloud-based data platform to measure, process and manage feed inventory information. Load cells installed beneath the silo support legs continuously detect weight changes as feed enters or leaves the silo. The controller processes the weighing signals and transmits the data to a cloud platform, allowing authorized users to monitor silo inventory and feed usage remotely through compatible computers or mobile devices. The system is suitable for new pig farm construction, farm modernization, automatic feeding projects and steel structure building applications where accurate feed data, remote supervision and centralized management are required. |

| Working Principle |
Load cells are installed beneath the silo legs or at suitable structural support points. As feed is delivered into the silo or discharged to the feeding system, the total load applied to the sensors changes. The load cells convert these mechanical changes into electrical signals. An intelligent controller collects the signals and applies data-processing algorithms to produce stable weighing information. After system calibration and tare configuration, the remaining feed quantity can be calculated from the measured silo weight. The processed information is transmitted to the cloud platform, where data can be stored, visualized and analyzed. Authorized users can review current silo inventory, feed intake or discharge trends and historical consumption records through compatible remote devices. When configured with alarm functions, the system can also identify abnormal feed changes, low inventory conditions or equipment problems and provide timely notifications to farm management personnel. |

| Installation & Maintenance |
Structural Assessment: Before installation, verify the silo support-leg configuration, maximum operating load, concrete foundation and steel support structure to ensure appropriate load-cell selection. Load Cell Installation: Weighing modules should be installed at the load-bearing points of the silo. Correct vertical force transfer is important for stable weighing performance. Retrofit Installation: Suitable existing silo legs can be adapted with weighing modules according to structural conditions, helping reduce the need for modifications at the top of the silo. Controller Setup: Load-cell signals, silo tare information and system parameters should be configured during commissioning. Cloud Connection: Communication between the intelligent controller and cloud platform should be tested before normal operation to ensure stable remote data transmission. Routine Maintenance: Inspect load cells, bolts, mounting plates, junction boxes, cables and communication equipment periodically. Check the weighing system again after any structural modification to the silo or supporting frame. |

| Product FAQ |
Q: How does the cloud silo weighing system measure feed inventory? A: Load cells installed beneath the silo supports measure the total mechanical load. After proper tare setting and calibration, the controller processes this information to determine the stored feed weight. Q: Can feed data be viewed remotely? A: Yes. A compatible cloud platform can transmit and display current silo data through authorized PC web or mobile interfaces. Q: Can the system monitor several silos? A: Yes. Multi-silo configurations can be designed according to farm size, silo quantity and communication requirements. Q: Can it monitor feed consumption? A: Yes. Changes in silo weight over time can be stored and analyzed to provide feed consumption information and historical inventory trends. Q: Can the system generate alarms? A: Compatible cloud configurations can provide threshold and abnormal-condition notifications, including low inventory, unusual feed data or equipment-related warnings. Q: Is retrofit installation possible? A: Yes. Suitable existing silos can often be upgraded with weighing modules at the support legs after structural and load conditions have been evaluated. Q: What information is required for quotation and system design? A: Please provide silo quantity, silo dimensions, feed capacity, tare weight if available, number and dimensions of support legs, installation environment, required remote functions and communication conditions. |
