| Working Principle |
Load cells are positioned at the load-bearing points of the feed silo. As feed is added to or removed from the silo, the mechanical force applied to the load cells changes accordingly. The weighing controller receives these electrical load-cell signals and converts them into digital weight data. After proper zero setting and calibration, the controller can provide information about the feed contained in the silo and transfer the measurement to a compatible production controller. When integrated into an automatic livestock feeding system, the weighing information can be used for feed inventory supervision, consumption analysis, refill planning and operational coordination between the silo area and livestock houses. |
