| Product Overview |
The Galvanized Open Grid Pig Pen Divider is a modular steel partition system designed for commercial pig houses where structural strength, ventilation, animal visibility and efficient daily management are required.
The divider consists of a welded steel frame with horizontal or vertical open bars and corrosion-resistant galvanized surfaces. The open-grid construction allows air to circulate freely between pens and enables farm personnel to observe animals without entering each enclosure.
It can be used as an internal divider, pen front, gating section or animal separation panel and can be integrated with feeders, drinkers, service aisles, slatted flooring and manure management systems in both new and renovated pig farm projects.
|
| Key Features |
- Open Grid Construction: Provides effective animal separation while maintaining visibility and unrestricted airflow between adjacent pens.
- Galvanized Steel Protection: Corrosion-resistant surface treatment is suitable for humid pig house environments and regular wash-down procedures.
- Heavy-Duty Welded Structure: Reinforced rails, bars and uprights provide reliable resistance to animal pressure and daily farm use.
- Improved Barn Ventilation: The open structure minimizes obstruction to mechanical or natural ventilation airflow.
- Easy Animal Observation: Farm personnel can visually inspect pigs, feeders and drinking points from service aisles.
- Flexible Pen Layout: Divider dimensions and mounting arrangements can be customized according to barn drawings and stocking requirements.
- Modular Installation: Panels can be connected to posts, walls, feeders or adjoining penning sections using bolts, brackets and anchoring accessories.
- Suitable for Slatted Floors: Compatible mounting systems can be developed for concrete and slatted pig house flooring.
- Commercial Farm Application: Suitable for repeated installation across large-scale nursery, grower, finisher and breeding pig facilities.
|
| Structural Components |
- Outer Steel Frame: Welded structural frame providing the primary strength of the divider.
- Open Steel Bars: Horizontal or vertical steel members forming the animal containment grid.
- Reinforced Bottom Rail: Heavy-duty lower structural member designed for areas exposed to higher animal loads.
- Support Posts: Galvanized steel posts used between divider sections or at gate locations.
- Floor Plates: Welded or bolt-on base plates for connection to solid or slatted flooring systems.
- Connection Brackets: Clips and brackets for joining panels to posts, walls, feeders or adjacent pen sections.
- Anchor Hardware: Bolts, expansion anchors, T-bolts or project-specific fixing components.
- Optional Gate Components: Hinges, drop rods, latches and gate posts can be supplied where the divider forms part of an access gate.
|
| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
The divider forms a rigid physical boundary between pig groups while retaining an open structure above the floor. Steel bars are welded into a reinforced frame, and the complete panel is secured to structural posts, floor plates, walls or adjoining equipment.
Animal loads are transferred through the bars and outer frame to the support posts and floor anchoring points. Reinforced lower rails can be used in areas where pigs exert greater pushing and rubbing forces.
Unlike solid panel partitions, the open-grid structure permits airflow, visibility and controlled contact between adjacent groups. The final bar spacing and panel height should be selected according to pig size, housing stage and applicable animal welfare requirements.
