The Heavy-Duty Boar Pen is a reinforced livestock housing system designed for mature breeding boars in commercial pig farms, artificial insemination centers, nucleus farms and breeding units. Because mature boars impose significantly higher mechanical loads on penning than younger pigs, the system emphasizes structural stability, secure gates, reliable floor anchoring and corrosion-resistant materials. The pen can be configured with a combination of solid plastic panels and galvanized steel bars, heavy-duty 50 mm plastic panels, or solid panels combined with galvanized or stainless steel contact grids. High support posts connected by galvanized top rails can be incorporated where additional structural reinforcement is required. Modular construction allows the boar pen to be adapted to new steel-structure pig houses, existing breeding barns and boar stud facilities. Feeding troughs, drinking equipment, flooring, gates and neighboring contact sections can be selected according to farm management requirements and local animal welfare standards. |

The boar is housed in an individual reinforced pen that provides sufficient separation from neighboring animals while allowing controlled observation, feeding, watering and breeding management. Mechanical loads created when the animal pushes against the pen are transferred from the partition panels and steel bars through the reinforced support posts into the floor anchoring system. For installations requiring increased stability, taller steel posts can be connected with galvanized horizontal pipes or top rails. This creates a reinforced upper structure that reduces movement of long partition runs and gates. Solid lower panels can reduce direct contact and contamination between pens, while open steel grids can be positioned in selected areas when controlled social contact or improved visibility is desired. The gate arrangement provides controlled access for animal transfer, collection procedures, health inspection and routine cleaning while maintaining secure containment during normal operation. |
