Multi-Nipple Nursery Pig Drinker Bar |

|
| Product Overview |
The Multi-Nipple Nursery Pig Drinker Bar is a stainless steel watering assembly designed to provide additional drinking spaces for newly weaned pigs. It is especially useful during the first weeks after placement in nursery or wean-to-finish facilities, when reliable access to clean drinking water is critical.
Multiple nursery nipples are distributed along the horizontal water bar, allowing several piglets to drink simultaneously and helping reduce competition around a single water point.
The removable mounting system attaches to compatible horizontal pen-gate rods, allowing the bar to be installed quickly, adjusted according to project requirements and removed for cleaning or storage after pigs become established on the permanent watering system.
|

|
| Structural Components |
- Horizontal Water Bar: Stainless steel pipe assembly distributes water to multiple drinking positions.
- Nursery Nipple Drinkers: Pig-activated drinking valves sized for young pigs.
- Vertical Standpipe: Connects the drinker bar to the farm water supply.
- Mounting Hooks: Secure the assembly to compatible horizontal divider rods or pen gates.
- Water Connection: Connects the unit to flexible hose or barn plumbing.
- Optional Shut-Off Valve: Allows individual isolation during cleaning or maintenance.
- Flow-Control Components: Regulate drinking-water delivery according to nipple configuration.
|
| Working Principle |
Pressurized drinking water enters through the standpipe and fills the horizontal stainless steel water bar. Each nipple remains closed until activated by a pig.
When a piglet pushes or bites the nipple stem, the internal valve opens and releases water. When pressure on the stem is removed, the spring-loaded valve closes automatically.
Because several nipples are positioned along the bar, multiple pigs can drink at the same time. This provides supplementary water access during the critical post-weaning adaptation period.

| Product FAQ |
Q: Why use a multi-nipple drinker bar in a nursery? A: It provides additional drinking positions for newly weaned pigs, helping reduce competition and improve access to water during the transition period.
Q: How many nipples can be installed? A: Comparable commercial configurations are available with 4, 8, 12 or 16 nursery nipples. Custom layouts can be supplied according to project requirements.
Q: Is the drinker bar permanently installed? A: Not necessarily. Removable hook-mounted configurations allow the unit to be taken out after pigs are fully adapted to the permanent watering system.
Q: Is it suitable for wet-dry feeder systems? A: Yes. A supplementary nipple bar is especially useful when young pigs are first introduced to wet-dry feeders.
Q: Can the water flow be adjusted? A: Yes. Compatible nursery nipples can be supplied with adjustable orifice settings for different flow rates.
Q: What information is required for a quotation? A: Please provide pig age or weight, pigs per pen, required nipple quantity, pen width, gate structure, available water pressure, inlet connection and required quantity.
