Product Overview

The No-Spray Finisher Pig Nipple Drinker is designed for growing and finishing pigs in commercial swine facilities. Its internal anti-spray flow-control structure delivers a gentle, even stream when the pig activates the nipple, helping reduce unnecessary spraying, runoff and water entering the manure system.

The stainless steel body, trigger and spring provide durability in humid pig-house environments, while adjustable flow settings allow the watering system to be matched to water pressure and animal requirements.

Key Features
  • No-Spray Water Delivery: Internal flow-control design reduces spray when the nipple is activated.
  • Reduced Water Waste: Gentle water delivery helps limit runoff and unnecessary water entering manure pits.
  • Stainless Steel Construction: Body, trigger and spring resist corrosion during intensive pig-house use.
  • Adjustable Flow: Three selectable flow settings accommodate different water-delivery requirements.
  • Durable Sealing: Viton O-ring provides reliable sealing and long-term valve performance.
  • Standard Connection: 1/2-inch male pipe thread simplifies integration with common swine watering systems.
  • On-Demand Operation: Water flows only when the pig activates the nipple trigger.
Structural Components
  • Stainless Steel Housing: Protects the internal valve components.
  • Trigger Stem: Opens the valve when activated by the pig.
  • Stainless Steel Spring: Returns the trigger to the closed position.
  • Anti-Spray Insert: Controls water movement to provide a smoother discharge pattern.
  • Flow Orifice: Allows selection of different water-flow settings.
  • Viton O-Ring: Seals the internal valve against leakage.
  • Threaded Water Inlet: Connects directly to compatible water pipes or mounting brackets.
Working Principle / Structural Principle

When a pig presses the trigger stem with its mouth, the internal valve opens and water passes through the selected flow-control orifice. The anti-spray insert modifies the discharge pattern to produce a more controlled and even stream instead of a high-velocity spray.

After the pig releases the trigger, the spring returns the valve to the closed position and the sealing element stops water flow automatically.

  • Adjust drinker height and flow as pigs grow.
Product FAQ

Q1: How does the no-spray design reduce water waste?

The internal anti-spray insert changes the water discharge into a gentler, more even stream, reducing spray and runoff around the drinking point.

Q2: Is the drinker suitable for finishing pigs?

Yes. It is specifically designed for commercial grower and finisher pig watering applications.

Q3: What connection size is used?

The reference configuration uses a standard 1/2-inch male pipe thread.

Q4: Can the water flow be adjusted?

Yes. Three reference orifice settings provide different water-flow rates.

Q5: What water pressure is recommended?

The reference operating range is approximately 20-40 psi, with a stated maximum pressure of 50 psi.

Q6: Can the nipple be installed on an adjustable pipe?

Yes. Adjustable brackets or water pipes can be used to maintain an appropriate drinking height as pigs grow.

Q7: What information is required for a quotation?

Please provide pig weight range, required quantity, water pressure, pipe connection, preferred flow setting, mounting method and project location.
