| Product Overview | The Stainless Steel Piglet Nipple Drinker is designed for on-demand water delivery in farrowing and nursery pig facilities. When the piglet presses or bites the valve stem, the internal valve opens and releases drinking water directly at the mouth. The compact stainless steel structure provides good resistance to corrosion and daily animal contact, while the threaded connection allows convenient integration with pig-house water lines, drinker brackets or nursery pen watering systems. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle | The drinker remains closed under normal conditions. When a piglet pushes or bites the nipple stem, the valve mechanism moves away from its sealing position and allows pressurized water to flow through the mouthpiece. When the piglet releases the nipple, the valve returns to the closed position and stops the water flow. This demand-operated principle provides fresh water directly to the animal while limiting continuous discharge. |

| Installation & Maintenance | Install the nipple drinker at an appropriate height and angle for the piglet size so the animal can activate the valve comfortably while drinking. Connect the threaded inlet securely to the water line or drinker bracket and check all joints for leakage before operation. Flush new water lines before commissioning. Periodically inspect the nipple movement, seals, filter and water flow, and remove mineral deposits or feed contamination when necessary. Water pressure and flow should be adjusted to suit piglet age and farm management requirements. |

| Product FAQ | Q: Is this nipple drinker designed specifically for piglets? A: Yes. The compact drinking valve is intended for piglets and nursery pigs. Larger pigs normally require a drinker selected for their size and water demand. Q: How does the nipple drinker supply water? A: The piglet presses or bites the valve stem, which opens the internal valve and releases water. The valve closes again when pressure is removed. Q: What connection size is commonly used? A: A 1/2-inch male threaded connection is widely used for piglet nipple drinkers. NPT, BSP and other configurations can be supplied according to project requirements. Q: Can the water flow be adjusted? A: Adjustable-flow configurations are available. The appropriate flow should be selected according to piglet age, water pressure and farm management conditions. Q: Where can the nipple drinker be installed? A: It can be installed on pig-house water pipes, nipple brackets, pen partitions or dedicated nursery drinking systems. Q: Can different models be supplied for a complete pig farm? A: Yes. Piglet, grower-finisher, sow and other pig drinking configurations can be selected according to the production stage and project requirements. |
