| Product Overview |
The High-Flow Sow Nipple Drinker is designed for reliable on-demand water delivery to gestating and lactating sows. Its heavy-duty stainless steel construction withstands repeated animal contact and humid commercial pig-house environments.
A bite-activated valve releases water only while the sow is drinking. The high-flow configuration supports the greater water demand of adult breeding animals while helping reduce unnecessary water loss. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
The internal valve remains closed when the drinker is not in use. When the sow bites or presses the nipple stem, the valve opens and allows pressurized water to flow through the drinking outlet.
Once the sow releases the stem, the spring returns the valve to the closed position. This demand-operated design supplies water only while the animal drinks and helps reduce continuous leakage. |

| Product FAQ |
Q: Why use a high-flow nipple drinker for sows? A: Adult and lactating sows have higher drinking-water requirements than younger pigs, making a high-flow drinker more suitable for breeding animals. Q: What connection size is commonly used? A: A 1/2-inch male pipe thread is commonly used. Other thread standards can be supplied according to project requirements. Q: Can the water flow be adjusted? A: Yes. Different flow-orifice or adjustable-flow configurations are available depending on the selected model. Q: Can it be installed in a farrowing crate? A: Yes. It can be integrated with water pipe assemblies in farrowing crates, gestation stalls and sow pens. Q: Is stainless steel suitable for commercial sow farms? A: Yes. Stainless steel provides good corrosion resistance and durability for humid livestock-house environments. Q: Can complete sow watering assemblies be supplied? A: Yes. Nipple drinkers, water pipes, brackets, drinking bowls and related fittings can be configured according to pig-house project requirements. |
