| Product Overview |
The Wean-to-Finish Automatic Pig Feeder is designed to support pigs from immediately after weaning through the finishing stage using a single feeding station.
Its gravity-to-mechanical feeding principle provides easy feed access for small newly weaned pigs. As pigs grow strong enough to operate the feed wheel, the feeder automatically transitions to animal-activated mechanical feed delivery, helping prevent trough overfilling and unnecessary feed waste. The round trough provides 360-degree access and distributes pigs around the feeder, while abrasion-resistant composite components and corrosion-resistant metal parts provide durability for intensive commercial pig production. |

| Working Principle |
When newly weaned pigs are introduced, openings in the hopper bottom allow feed to flow freely into the trough. This gravity-flow stage ensures that young pigs can locate and consume feed before they are strong enough to operate the mechanical system.
As pigs grow, they begin rotating the multi-spoke feed wheel. Wheel movement progressively closes the gravity-flow slides while operating the internal feed sweep. Feed is then moved past the cone and into the trough only when pigs activate the mechanism. In mechanical mode, feed delivery stops when wheel movement stops, helping keep the trough fresh while reducing play waste and overfilling. |
