The Double-Sided Automatic Nursery Pig Feeder is designed for ad-libitum feeding of weaned pigs in medium and large commercial nursery groups. The double configuration combines two feed hoppers with a centralized stainless steel feeding area, providing high feeding capacity while making efficient use of pen space.
Feed is released in small, controlled quantities through an adjustable dispensing mechanism. The system can handle common dry-feed forms such as pellets and meal, while separate water access allows pigs to drink without unnecessarily contaminating the dry feed. The feeder can be integrated into a pen partition or installed as a free-standing feeding station with additional structural posts. Manual filling and automatic filling from centralized dry-feed lines are both available according to project requirements. |

| Working Principle |
Dry feed is stored in the two upper hoppers and moves by gravity toward the dispensing units. The adjustment mechanism determines the quantity of feed released during each activation.
Pig interaction with the dispensing area releases small portions of feed onto the central feeding plateau. This helps keep feed fresh and limits excessive accumulation in the trough. The reversible dispensing plate can be selected or oriented according to feed characteristics. Water is supplied separately at both sides of the feeding area, allowing pigs convenient drinking access while maintaining separation between feed and water. The hopper can be filled manually or connected to an automatic dry-feed transport system for centralized commercial farm operation. |
