| Product Overview |
The F9 V-Bank Air Filter for Livestock Ventilation is a compact high-efficiency final filtration solution designed for pig houses, poultry houses, dairy barns and other mechanically ventilated livestock buildings. The V-shaped filter configuration provides a large effective filtration surface within a compact installation depth, helping achieve efficient particle capture while maintaining practical airflow performance. It can be integrated into fresh-air inlet systems, centralized ventilation units, filter walls and air-handling systems used in modern livestock facilities. The filter is especially suitable for projects requiring improved incoming-air cleanliness, reduced fine dust penetration and stable ventilation performance under intensive farm operating conditions. |
| Key Features |
|
| Structural Components |
V-Bank Filter Packs: Multiple mini-pleated filter packs are arranged in a V configuration to increase the effective media surface area. High-Efficiency Filter Media: Fine-fiber or equivalent high-efficiency media can be selected according to the required filtration grade and farm ventilation design. Rigid Outer Frame: Plastic, ABS or other project-specified frame materials may be used to provide dimensional stability and convenient installation. Media Separators: Hot-melt separation technology can maintain uniform pleat spacing and support consistent airflow through the filter pack. Sealing System: Sealing compound and optional perimeter gasket help minimize bypass leakage when properly installed in the filter housing. |
| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
Fresh outdoor air passes through the V-shaped high-efficiency filter packs before entering the livestock house ventilation system. Fine particles are captured within the filter media while filtered air continues toward the air inlet, ventilation duct, air-handling unit or animal housing area. The V-bank arrangement increases the available media area compared with a flat filter of similar frontal dimensions. This configuration can support higher airflow while helping control face velocity and pressure resistance. In multi-stage livestock ventilation systems, a pre-filter is normally installed upstream to capture coarse dust and extend the service life of the high-efficiency final filter. |

| Installation & Maintenance |
Install the filter in a correctly sized holding frame or filter housing with the airflow direction and sealing surfaces properly aligned. Ensure that the perimeter gasket or sealing interface is evenly compressed to minimize unfiltered air bypass. For livestock houses with high outdoor dust concentrations, a coarse or medium-efficiency pre-filter is recommended upstream of the F9 filter. This reduces the loading rate on the final filter and can extend replacement intervals. Filter condition should be checked regularly through visual inspection and differential-pressure monitoring where available. Replace the filter when the project-specified final pressure drop is reached, when the media is damaged, or according to the farm's preventive maintenance program. Actual replacement intervals depend on airflow, outdoor dust load, pre-filtration efficiency and local operating conditions. |
| Project Cases |
Typical project configurations include filtered fresh-air systems for commercial pig houses, centralized filter walls for large livestock buildings, and compact V-bank filter modules integrated into mechanical ventilation equipment. For engineering projects, filter quantity, module size, total airflow, pre-filter arrangement and housing dimensions can be designed according to building layout, animal capacity, ventilation rate, local particulate conditions and biosecurity requirements. Project-specific references and configurations are available upon request. |
