Product Overview

The Full-Access Veterinary Cattle Crush is a heavy-duty livestock restraint system designed for cattle handling procedures where unrestricted access to the animal is more important than body squeezing. It combines an automatic self-locking head yoke with multiple side access doors, rear restraint and a stable non-slip floor.

The open-access body enables operators, veterinarians and farm technicians to reach the neck, shoulders, flanks and rear body areas efficiently. It is suitable for commercial dairy farms, beef operations, veterinary facilities and integrated cattle-handling systems requiring safe restraint for examination, weighing, vaccination and routine herd management.

Key Features
  • Automatic self-locking head yoke for efficient cattle capture.
  • One-touch yoke reset simplifies repeated livestock handling.
  • Seven reference yoke-width settings from approximately 100 to 240 mm.
  • Gear-synchronized yoke doors support balanced and reliable animal capture.
  • Four full-access doors on each side provide extensive access to the animal.
  • Dedicated neck-access doors support veterinary and testing procedures.
  • Acoustic dampening components help reduce vibration and operating noise.
  • Deep-profile rubber flooring provides secure footing in wet livestock environments.
  • Integrated lifting and load-bar mounting points simplify weighing-system installation.
  • Compatible with selected rear gates, extensions and hoof-trimming accessories.
Structural Components
  • Heavy-Duty Main Frame: Provides structural rigidity for repetitive commercial cattle handling.
  • Automatic Head Yoke: Captures and restrains the animal at the front of the crush.
  • Synchronized Yoke Doors: Move together to provide controlled neck restraint.
  • Full-Length Baffled Yoke: Uses straight vertical members to improve animal safety around the head and leg areas.
  • Side Access Doors: Multiple independently opening sections provide access to both sides of the animal.
  • Neck Access Doors: Provide additional working access near the shoulder and neck area.
  • Ratchet Backing Bar: Helps prevent backward movement during handling procedures.
  • Quick-Release Crossbar: Supports operator access and emergency release procedures.
  • Rubber Floor: Provides traction and helps reduce noise during animal movement.
  • Load-Bar Mounting Points: Allow compatible electronic weighing equipment to be integrated below the crush.
Working Principle

The animal enters the cattle crush through the rear handling race and moves toward the automatic head yoke. When the head and neck reach the preset capture position, the synchronized yoke doors secure the animal for temporary restraint.

Once restrained, operators can open the required side or neck access doors to perform veterinary examination, vaccination, identification, weighing or other herd-management procedures. The backing bar helps control rearward movement, while the head yoke can be reset quickly for the next animal after release.
