Product Name 5-Calf Newborn Transport Box
Product Image 5-calf newborn stainless steel transport box
Product Overview The 5-Calf Newborn Transport Box is a heavy-duty stainless steel livestock handling unit developed for efficient movement of up to five newborn calves between maternity barns, calf-rearing areas and outdoor calf hutches.

The large sliding entrance provides convenient, almost level loading and unloading, reducing the need to lift young animals manually. Perforated stainless steel side panels maintain visibility of the calves during transport, while a rubber-covered floor provides a stable and more comfortable standing surface.

The transport box can be configured for handling by a wheel loader or forklift, allowing farms to integrate calf movement into existing material-handling workflows. An optional external accessory container can carry feeding buckets and other calf-management equipment during the same trip.
Key Features
  • Designed for transporting up to five newborn calves in one trip.
  • Heavy-duty stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance and livestock-farm hygiene.
  • Large sliding door provides convenient and nearly ground-level calf access.
  • Locking pins secure the sliding door in both open and closed positions.
  • Removable sliding door simplifies access during cleaning and sanitation.
  • Perforated side panels provide ventilation and allow operators to observe calves during transport.
  • Rubber floor mat provides a softer, more stable and slip-resistant standing surface.
  • Floor-edge drainage gaps allow wash water to drain quickly during cleaning.
  • Wheel-loader and forklift handling configurations are available.
  • Transport height can be adjusted with loader handling to match calf-hutch access conditions.
  • Optional external container can carry milk buckets, feeding equipment or other calf supplies.
Structural Components
  • Stainless Steel Frame: Rigid structural framework designed for repeated livestock transport and loader handling.
  • Perforated Side Panels: Stainless steel walls provide animal containment while maintaining airflow and visibility.
  • Sliding Door: Wide side access simplifies calf loading and unloading in restricted farm areas.
  • Door Locking Pins: Secure the door during loading, transport and unloading.
  • Rubber Floor Mat: Provides improved grip and a more comfortable standing surface for newborn calves.
  • Drainage Gaps: Openings along the floor perimeter support rapid drainage after washing.
  • Loader Attachment: Hanging and fork-insertion arrangement available for compatible wheel loaders.
  • Forklift Pockets: Dedicated fork pockets are available for forklift handling.
  • Accessory Container: Optional detachable container for calf-feeding buckets and farm supplies.
Structural Principle The transport box functions as a secure removable livestock compartment that can be lifted and transported by compatible farm material-handling equipment.

Calves enter through the large sliding door while the box is positioned close to floor level. After loading, the door is closed and secured with locking pins. A wheel loader or forklift then lifts the complete box through the designated attachment points and transports it to the calf-rearing area.

At the destination, the operator can adjust the box height with the loader to suit the entrance level of calf hutches or handling areas. The sliding door allows the transport box to be positioned close to the receiving pen before calves are released.
