Dry feed moves from the hopper through an adjustable feed gate to the shelf and trough. The operator sets the opening according to pig size, feed characteristics and consumption level. Pigs can consume feed directly or activate the nipple located in their feeding space. Water enters the trough and allows individual pigs to create a preferred wet-feed consistency. The removable water-bar system provides access to drinking components for cleaning or repair without requiring major feeder disassembly. |
