| Product Overview |
The Two-Sided Nursery Wet-Dry Feeder is designed for newly weaned and nursery pigs that require reliable access to both feed and water during the transition from milk to solid diets. Pigs can consume dry feed from the feed shelf or combine feed with water in the lower trough according to their feeding behavior. The double-sided configuration provides feeding access from both sides of the unit, making it suitable for installation between adjacent pens or in high-capacity nursery layouts. A stainless steel hopper, adjustable feed-control mechanism and integrated water line create a compact feeding station for intensive pig production. The feeder can be coordinated with plastic slatted floors, concrete slats, pen gates, automatic feed delivery systems and steel structure pig houses according to project requirements. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
Dry feed enters the stainless steel hopper manually or through an automatic feed line. The adjustable dispensing opening meters feed onto the lower shelf where pigs can consume it in dry form. Water nipples are positioned in the lower trough. When pigs activate a nipple, water enters the feeding area and can be mixed with feed according to individual consumption behavior. Because both sides of the feeder are accessible, one centrally positioned unit can serve pigs from two sides while helping optimize floor area and feeding-space distribution in commercial nursery houses. |

| Product FAQ |
Q1: What is a wet-dry nursery pig feeder? It combines dry-feed delivery with drinking nipples in the feeding trough, allowing pigs to consume dry feed or mix feed and water while eating. Q2: What is the advantage of a two-sided feeder? Pigs can access the feeder from both sides, allowing one unit to provide multiple feeding positions and making efficient use of pen floor space. Q3: Is the feeder suitable for newly weaned pigs? Yes. Wet-dry nursery feeders are designed to support the transition from milk feeding to solid nursery diets. Q4: Can feed flow be adjusted? Yes. An adjustable feed gate allows the delivery rate to be matched to pig size, feed characteristics and consumption level. Q5: Can the feeder connect to an automatic feed line? Yes. Feed tube holders and hopper connections can be supplied for compatible automatic feed delivery systems. Q6: Can it be installed on plastic slatted flooring? Yes. Appropriate mounting brackets can be selected for plastic nursery flooring, concrete slats, solid concrete or gate installation. Q7: Can feeder dimensions be customized? Yes. Length, feeding-space quantity, hopper configuration and mounting arrangement can be customized according to project requirements. Q8: What information is required for a quotation? Please provide the number of nursery pigs, target pig weight, pigs per pen, pen dimensions, floor type, feeding method, water pressure conditions, required feeder quantity and project location. |
