| Product Overview |
The Pressure Regulator with Water Level Indicator is a key control component for automatic poultry nipple drinking systems. Installed at the beginning or center of a drinking line, it reduces incoming water pressure to the low and stable operating pressure required by poultry nipple drinkers. The integrated transparent indicator tube provides a direct visual reference of the water column inside the drinking line. Farm operators can therefore monitor and adjust line pressure according to bird age, water consumption, climate and management conditions without relying solely on external measuring equipment. The regulator can be integrated into broiler, layer, pullet, breeder and turkey drinking systems in commercial poultry houses and steel structure farm buildings. Manual flushing and other line-control configurations are available according to project requirements. |

| Working Principle |
Water from the farm supply system enters the pressure regulator before reaching the nipple drinking line. The internal regulating mechanism reduces and stabilizes the incoming pressure so that the nipple pipe operates at the required low-pressure condition. The transparent indicator tube is hydraulically connected to the drinking line. The height of the water column inside the tube provides a simple visual indication of the pressure condition in the line. Raising or lowering the regulator setting changes the water-column height and consequently changes the pressure available at the nipples. During normal production, lower settings can be used for young birds while pressure can be progressively adjusted as bird size and water demand increase. Exact settings depend on nipple type, line length, house conditions and the drinking-management program. On regulators equipped with a flushing function, the normal pressure-control mode can be bypassed or changed to provide increased flow through the drinking pipe during line cleaning. |

| Technical Specifications |
Line-length values refer to the referenced professional pressure-regulator configuration. Final pressure range, connection size, flow capacity and line length should be confirmed according to nipple type, water demand and poultry-house design. |

| Product FAQ |
Q1: What does the water level indicator show? The transparent tube shows the water-column height, providing a convenient visual indication of pressure inside the poultry drinking line. Q2: Why is pressure regulation important for nipple drinkers? Correct pressure helps nipples deliver sufficient water while reducing excessive dripping, water waste and wet litter. Q3: Should water pressure change as birds grow? Yes. Water demand generally increases with bird age and body weight, so pressure settings should be adjusted according to the nipple specification and flock management program. Q4: Can the regulator be used for line flushing? Yes. Compatible regulators include a manual flushing mode, while automatic flushing configurations are also available. Q5: Can it be installed in the middle of a long drinking line? Yes. Center-supply configurations are available for longer poultry drinking lines when required by the system design. Q6: Can it be used for broilers and layers? Yes. The regulator can be configured for nipple drinking systems used for broilers, layers, pullets, breeders and other poultry. Q7: Is a water filter recommended? Yes. Upstream filtration helps prevent sediment and foreign particles from entering regulators and nipple valves. Q8: Can SHEWUYOU supply the complete drinking-line control system? Yes. Pressure regulators, nipple pipes, filters, end sets, flushing components, suspension equipment and water connection units can be configured according to project requirements. |
