Water from the farm supply system enters the pressure regulator before reaching the nipple drinking line. The internal regulating mechanism reduces and stabilizes the incoming pressure so that the nipple pipe operates at the required low-pressure condition.

The transparent indicator tube is hydraulically connected to the drinking line.
