| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
The automatic float valve maintains the drinking water level. When cattle consume water, the float drops and opens the inlet valve. Fresh water enters the trough until the preset level is restored, after which the valve closes automatically. During cold weather, the thermostat monitors temperature and controls the electrical heating components. The main heater protects the stainless steel trough, while a cable heater can provide additional protection around the valve and supply-line area. The insulated housing and thermal cap reduce heat loss from the stored water. Correct installation over an insulated or frost-protected water riser further improves cold-weather reliability. |
