High-Capacity Poultry Flex Auger Fill System |
| Product Image |
 |
| Product Overview |
The High-Capacity Poultry Flex Auger Fill System is designed for rapid and reliable transfer of dry poultry feed from outdoor storage silos to feeder-line hoppers, weighing units or secondary feed distribution equipment. A high-strength coreless spiral rotates inside an enclosed tube to move feed continuously through the system.
The flexible conveying route can run horizontally, on an incline or around suitable curves, allowing efficient installation between silos and poultry houses. Different auger diameters, conveying rates, tube materials, drive units and control options can be selected according to flock capacity and project requirements.
|
| Key Features |
- High Feed Delivery Capacity: Multiple auger and drive configurations are available for large commercial poultry houses and centralized feed systems.
- Flexible Routing: Feed can be conveyed horizontally, upward, downward or around suitable corners according to building layout.
- Fully Enclosed Conveying: The tube protects feed during transport and helps limit dust and external contamination.
- Coreless Auger Design: High-strength spiral construction provides efficient continuous feed movement without a central shaft.
- Wear-Resistant Tubing: UV- and wear-resistant polymer tubing is suitable for outdoor and indoor agricultural installations.
- Automatic Feed Control: Hopper-level switches, drop-tube switches, timers and programmable controls can be integrated.
- Multiple Silo Options: Single, twin and tandem silo boot arrangements can be configured for different feed-storage layouts.
- Low Space Requirement: Compact tubular construction simplifies installation around livestock equipment and steel structure poultry houses.
|
| Structural Components |
- Coreless Auger: High-tensile steel spiral responsible for transporting feed through the system.
- Conveyor Tube: Wear-resistant PVC, polymer or steel tube selected according to feed characteristics and application.
- Silo Transition: Connects the feed bin outlet to the conveyor boot and allows controlled feed entry.
- Bin Boot: Available in single, twin or project-specific configurations for different silo layouts.
- Outlet Drop: Directs conveyed feed into feeder-line hoppers or downstream equipment.
- Drop Tube: Flexible or rigid tubing guides feed from the conveyor outlet to the receiving hopper.
- Power Unit: Electric motor and gearhead rotate the auger at the selected operating speed.
- Control System: Level switches and optional programmable controls regulate automatic feed delivery.
|
| Working Principle |
Feed flows from the storage silo through the transition and bin boot into the conveyor tube. The motor-driven coreless auger rotates inside the tube and continuously transports feed toward the poultry house.
Outlet drops direct feed into one or more feeder-line hoppers. When the downstream hopper reaches the preset feed level, a sensor can stop the drive unit. The conveyor restarts automatically when additional feed is required, providing demand-based feed delivery.

|
| Installation & Maintenance |
The system route should be designed according to silo location, feed demand, house dimensions and permitted auger bending radius. Conveyor tubes must be securely supported, and silo transitions, boots, drive units and outlet drops should be correctly aligned before commissioning.
Routine maintenance includes inspection of the auger, tube wear, motor and gearbox, silo boot, outlet drops, suspension points and level-control devices. Power must be isolated before opening or servicing any moving feed-conveying component.

| Product FAQ |
Q: What is a high-capacity poultry flex auger fill system?
A: It is an enclosed automatic feed-delivery system that uses a flexible rotating steel auger to move bulk feed from storage silos to poultry feeding equipment.
Q: Can the conveyor run around corners?
A: Yes. Properly designed curved tube sections allow the auger system to change direction and elevation according to the farm layout.
Q: Can one system serve multiple feeding lines?
A: Yes. Multiple outlet drops and downstream hoppers can be incorporated when the conveying capacity and system layout are correctly engineered.
Q: Can the system be used with two feed silos?
A: Yes. Twin-outlet and tandem silo configurations can be supplied according to feed-storage and ration-management requirements.
Q: Can feed delivery be automated?
A: Yes. Hopper-level switches, drop-tube sensors, timers and programmable controls can automatically regulate feed transport.
Q: Can SHEWUYOU customize the complete fill system?
A: Yes. Auger size, tube diameter, conveyor length, silo boot, outlets, motor and control equipment can be configured according to project requirements.
