Electrical energy is supplied to the internal heating element, which warms the heat-distribution surface on the underside of the plate.

Installation

1. Install the four adjustable support legs securely into the heating plate.
2. Position the unit on a stable and dry brooder floor.
3. Set the initial plate height according to chick size.

5. Keep feeders and drinkers positioned so spilled water cannot reach electrical connections.
