| Product Overview |
The Electric Chick Brooder Heating Plate is designed to provide gentle localized warmth for newly hatched chicks and other young poultry. The heating surface is positioned above the birds so they can move underneath the plate and select a comfortable warming position in a way that resembles natural brooding beneath a hen. Unlike conventional suspended heat lamps that continuously radiate heat and light over a large area, a brooder plate concentrates warmth around the birds. This supports energy-efficient brooding and allows normal light and dark periods inside the poultry-rearing area. Adjustable support legs allow the working height and, on compatible designs, the plate angle to be changed as chicks grow. Different dimensions, electrical configurations and heating capacities can be supplied according to project requirements. |

| Working Principle |
Electrical energy is supplied to the internal heating element, which warms the heat-distribution surface on the underside of the plate. Chicks position themselves beneath the heated panel and receive warmth through close-range radiant and contact heating. Birds can move away from the plate whenever they require a cooler environment, creating a natural temperature-selection zone within the brooder. As the chicks grow, the support legs can be raised to increase clearance beneath the panel. Some installations can also use different leg heights to create a sloping surface, providing different clearances for birds of varying size. |

| Product FAQ |
Q1: How does a chick brooder heating plate work? The heated underside provides localized radiant and contact warmth. Chicks move beneath the plate when they need heat and move away when they are comfortable. Q2: Is the height adjustable? Yes. Adjustable support legs allow the clearance beneath the plate to increase as the chicks grow. Q3: Can one side be lower than the other? Compatible designs allow individual leg adjustment, creating different clearances so birds of different sizes can select a suitable position. Q4: Is a heating plate suitable for ducklings and quail? Yes. Properly sized brooder plates can be used for chicks, ducklings, quail, poults and other young poultry according to species and size. Q5: How many chicks can one plate heat? Capacity depends on plate dimensions, bird size, age, ambient temperature and brooding conditions. Several plate sizes can be supplied according to project requirements. Q6: Does the heating plate produce light? The heating panel itself does not require a high-output heat lamp, allowing poultry-house lighting to be controlled separately. Q7: Can low-voltage versions be supplied? Yes. Low-voltage configurations can be supplied according to project requirements and destination-market standards. Q8: Can SHEWUYOU supply multiple sizes for distributors? Yes. Different plate dimensions, electrical specifications and packaging configurations are available for farms, distributors and agricultural project procurement. |
