Product Overview The Heated Mixing & Dosing Calf Milk Trolley is a mobile calf-feeding system designed to prepare, transport and accurately dispense whole milk or calf milk replacer throughout dairy calf-rearing facilities.

The trolley integrates controlled heating, variable-speed agitation, a milk dispensing pump and programmable dosing into one compact mobile platform. The heating system distributes heat across the bottom of the tank to promote uniform warming and reduce localized overheating of milk.

Adjustable agitation allows gentle mixing of whole milk and higher-speed preparation of calf milk replacer, while programmable portion settings help operators deliver repeatable quantities to different calf groups. Its stable three-wheel chassis and large front wheels support convenient movement between milk rooms, calf barns and outdoor calf hutches.
Key Features
  • Integrated Heating: Bottom-distributed heating promotes uniform temperature control without relying on a conventional immersion heater.
  • Variable-Speed Mixing: Adjustable agitation supports gentle whole-milk circulation and higher-speed milk-replacer preparation.
  • Lump-Free Milk Replacer Preparation: High-speed agitation helps dissolve calf milk replacer rapidly and maintain a homogeneous ration.
  • Programmable Precision Dosing: Up to nine reference dosing levels can be stored for different calf groups.
  • Automatic Dose Stop: Milk flow stops automatically after the programmed quantity has been delivered.
  • Ergonomic Dispensing Handle: Trigger-operated control allows convenient feeding at individual calf pens and hutches.
  • Anti-Drip Outlet: A check-valve arrangement helps reduce milk dripping after each dispensing cycle.
  • Three-Wheel Maneuverability: Compact chassis provides excellent turning flexibility in narrow livestock passages.
  • Large Front Wheels: Designed for practical movement over concrete, gravel, minor thresholds and common farm surfaces.
  • Mechanical Parking Brake: Holds the trolley securely during preparation, dispensing and parking.
  • Optional Pasteurization: Compatible configurations can heat-treat milk and cool it to the required feeding temperature.
Structural Components
  • High-grade stainless-steel milk tank
  • Bottom-distributed electric heating system
  • Top-mounted variable-speed agitator
  • Electronic temperature monitoring
  • Digital control panel
  • Programmable dosing controller
  • Electric milk dispensing pump
  • Flexible food-grade milk hose
  • Ergonomic dispensing handle
  • Anti-drip check valve
  • Rechargeable battery system
  • Heavy-duty three-wheel chassis
  • Large front transport wheels
  • Steering wheel assembly
  • Mechanical parking brake
Working Principle Milk Preparation: Whole milk or the required volume of water is added to the stainless-steel tank. Calf milk replacer can then be introduced according to the feeding formulation.

Controlled Heating: The heating system raises the liquid to the selected preparation or feeding temperature while the control panel displays the actual milk temperature.

Adaptive Mixing: The agitator operates at an appropriate speed for the selected process. Gentle agitation helps maintain whole-milk uniformity, while higher-speed operation supports rapid milk-replacer dissolution.

Mobile Transport: Once preparation is complete, the trolley is manually moved from the milk room to individual hutches, calf pens or group housing areas.

Precision Dosing: The operator selects the required programmed portion and activates the dispensing handle. The pump delivers milk through the hose and stops automatically when the selected volume has been reached.

Cleaning Cycle: After feeding, cleaning water is circulated through the tank, pump and hose system to remove residual milk before final rinsing and scheduled manual cleaning.

Installation & Maintenance The calf milk trolley requires no permanent livestock-building installation. A suitable electrical connection should be provided in the milk preparation or charging area according to the selected voltage and heater configuration.

Before operation, position the trolley on a stable surface and engage the parking brake. Verify the tank is properly filled before operating the heater or agitator.

After each feeding round, rinse the tank and circulate cleaning water through the pump, hose and dispensing handle. Periodic manual brushing and detergent cleaning should be included in the farm's calf-feeding hygiene program.

Routinely inspect the heating system, agitator, pump, battery, hose, dispensing handle, check valve, wheels, parking brake and electrical connections. Milk-contact components should be kept clean and allowed to dry between feeding cycles where practical.
Product FAQ Q: Can the trolley prepare both whole milk and calf milk replacer?
A: Yes. Variable-speed agitation allows gentle whole-milk mixing and higher-speed preparation of powdered calf milk replacer.

Q: Can different feeding quantities be programmed?
A: Yes. The referenced control system can store up to nine dosing levels for different calf groups or feeding plans.

Q: Does the pump stop automatically after each dose?
A: Yes. The precision-dosing function automatically stops milk flow after the selected quantity has been dispensed.

Q: Can the trolley keep milk at the required temperature?
A: The heating and control system can warm milk to the selected temperature and maintain the required temperature according to the configured operating program.

Q: Is pasteurization available?
A: Yes. Pasteurization and subsequent cooling can be supplied according to the selected equipment configuration.

Q: Is the trolley suitable for outdoor calf hutches?
A: Yes. Its large wheels, high ground clearance and compact mobile chassis make it suitable for typical calf-hutch feeding routes, subject to local ground conditions.
