| Product Overview |
The Low Voltage Chick Brooder Heating Plate is designed to provide localized warmth for newly hatched chicks and other young poultry during the critical brooding period. Instead of heating the entire room, the plate creates a warm shelter where chicks can move underneath and receive radiant and contact heat according to their comfort requirements. The heating plate is supported by adjustable legs so the clearance can be changed as the birds grow. Depending on the configuration, one side can be positioned differently from the other to create a variable-height warm zone for chicks of different sizes. A low-voltage operating circuit separates the heating plate from direct mains-voltage operation through a suitable power adapter or transformer. This configuration is particularly suitable for poultry brooding applications where electrical safety, low energy demand and continuous operation are important considerations. Unlike conventional brooder lamps that also produce visible light, a heating plate provides warmth without continuously illuminating the brooding zone. It can therefore be integrated into poultry-house management programs where lighting and heating are controlled independently. SHEWUYOU supplies brooding heaters for poultry farms, hatcheries, livestock equipment distributors, agricultural engineering companies and integrated agricultural project buyers. Plate dimensions, heating capacity, low-voltage configuration, leg design and power supply can be customized according to project requirements. |

| Working Principle / Structural Principle |
Electrical power is supplied through an adapter or transformer that provides the low-voltage operating circuit required by the heating plate. The internal heating element converts this electrical energy into thermal energy and transfers heat across the plate surface. Heat radiates downward toward the chicks while birds positioned close to the underside can also benefit from the warm surface environment. The enclosed space beneath the plate creates a localized brooding zone similar in principle to chicks sheltering beneath a hen. Chicks can move freely between the heated area and the surrounding cooler area. This behavioral choice is an important operating indicator: chicks continuously crowding tightly under the plate may require additional warmth, while birds consistently remaining outside the heated area may indicate excessive heating or insufficient clearance. The adjustable legs allow the warming height to be increased as chicks grow. Brooder height, room temperature, flock size and ventilation conditions should therefore be checked throughout the brooding period. |

| Installation & Maintenance |
Brooding Area Preparation Position the heating plate on a stable, dry and level brooding surface. Provide sufficient open space around the plate so chicks can move freely between the heated zone, feeders, drinkers and the surrounding environment. Initial Height Adjustment Set the legs so newly hatched chicks can comfortably enter beneath the plate while remaining close enough to the heated surface to receive useful warmth. One end may be positioned lower where the selected design permits, giving chicks a choice of different clearances. Electrical Connection Use only a correctly matched power adapter or transformer for the selected heating plate. The mains-side electrical connection should comply with applicable local standards. Keep plugs, connectors and power supplies away from drinking water, wet litter and areas where birds can damage the cable. Environmental Coordination A brooder plate provides localized heat and does not replace the complete poultry-house environmental system. Room temperature, draft control, litter condition and the livestock ventilation system should be managed according to bird age and stocking conditions. Daily Adjustment Observe chick distribution and behavior regularly. Raise the plate progressively as birds grow while maintaining an accessible warm zone. Different flocks and ambient conditions may require different adjustments. Cleaning and Maintenance
